Once you look at it closely - obviously this is not a FREE song of the day like usually sits in the exact same spot on a daily basis for months if not years. Ha Ha yes I fell for it ... don't you. I trust that this was not an intentional bait and switch ... kicking myself.

The song is a heavy hearted love ballad. There are some interesting beats in it and the singer has a nice soulful voice. But it is a fairly generic slow chorded keyboard piece with self loathing lyrics. This guy will take any and all abuse to be with his ex. Come on man get a grip. This is not something I would normally buy. sigh ... I was going to give this three stars because I will usually round up because it was FREE.

The video and song are fantastic. There is something about this guy that works with he mood of the song and video. He has a different soulful sound. My fave of 2011.

I hadn't listed to Gavin Degraw since Chariot, mainly because I really overplayed that album. This song, however, reminded me everything I love about his music - upbeat, infectious melodies with lyrics that describe human emotion with poetic precision and clarity. The song was co-written with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. If you like some of their radio singles, you will probably like this song. Gavin's vocals are much stronger than Tedder's, but you can hear his influence in the construction of the song.

There is something about this song that speaks to me, even though I haven't been in the emotional state described in many years. Gavin did something very special with this one. Highly recommended.

Great new single from a very talented, singer, songwriter & musician. In the top 5 on itunes! So worth the small price for a single, but check out the entire "Sweeter" album. All great songs!

I wouldn't rate this song poorly becauuse "it wasn't free". I don't think being stingy is any reason to give this artist a bad review. I've always been a fan of Gavin, his songs have good lyrics with real meaning. I have been waiting for him to come out with something new forever, and I will say that this new single doesn't dissapoint. Who cares if its not free when its worth a whole .99 cents!?!

Oh man.. I'm SO glad that I didn't like this song.. while previewing and listening to the first 30 seconds. Almost got conned into buying a song I really didn't care for the music!! PHEW!

Yeah like not free = sucks Amazon. I dont blame Gavin, but the song is not that great, so free would have been about the right price.
