NOT QUITE HEAVEN is a contemporary romance with a bit of suspense and lots of sexual attraction between the hero and heroine, Ian and Melissa. Ian, a best-selling author has faced tragedy that has left him bitter and angry, blaming himself for past mistakes. As a favor to Ian's agent, Melissa (a writer herself) tries to help Ian find motivation and passion for his manuscript in progress. Snowed in at Ian's house in Maine, they begin to care deeply about each other. But, as in every romance, there are obstacles. And, as with suspense, there is danger. But a happily-ever-after ending isn't far behind.
