As an avid collector of cookbooks - I am always on the lookout for a great new one. I was very impressed with "Notably Nashville"! Not only were the recipes fabulous, the information about Nashville and nearby areas was fantastic. As a dietitian I am always looking for new recipes. Notably Nashville (although full of great southern traditions) had numerous healthy recipes for those of us who are watching our waist line. I recommend this book to cooks of all levels and anyone who enjoys a great cookbook!

Notably Nashville is a cookbook on which I have come to rely. Each and every recipe is delectable and easy. Everything that I have prepared tastes as if I slaved all day, yet that is never the case. I am constantly asked for the recipe's I prepare. Some of my favorites are the Phyllo Sausage Cups, the Summer Peach Pie, Minnie Pearl's Chess Pie, and the Goat Cheese Dip. Notably Nashville is a treasure trove for any cook, a novice or one that is well seasoned!

I have tried many of the recipes in this cookbook and all turned out great! Some of my favorites are the Summer Peach Pie, Toffee Bars, & Glazed Ginger Pork Roast. All of the recipes look delicious. These are recipes that the average cook can make and impress dinner guests or just their family. There is a great variety of dishes offered and they are not super difficult to make successfully. I will be using this cookbook for the rest of my life! I've given it as gifts many times. I am proud to add it to my collection.
