5.0 out of 5 stars BEST for studying to pass NYS notary exam!, December 14, 2000
By A Customer
The FOUR practice exams are awesome! They are styled just like the state exams and even have answers and explanations for every question. The 160 practice questions helped me pass the state exam with flying colors. Piombino writes in easy-to-understand, plain English. The book illustrations are helpful to better understand the concepts, too. I learned so much more than I thought I ever would. Even my friend (a New York notary) liked it. She found the latest, New York law changes in the book especially helpful for her job. ANYONE preparing for the New York State exam needs THIS book! Recommended highly!

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful information, April 6, 2000
This review is from: Notary Public Handbook: A Guide for New York Law (Paperback)
The book has very practical information on the functions of a notary. There's also detail on the legal background. There's a lot that I never realized about what notaries can/can't do, nor did I know the details behind the proper procedures a notary should follow. Good stuff.

Great book and the practice exams are a MUST HAVE. If you get the opportunity, you should take one of his seminars--this guy's a trip.
PS I read the book, took all the practice exams and passed the exam!!!!
