I have designed this notary journal with my students in mind. After teaching notary law for 7 years, I have encountered many challenges, which my students also face when asked to notarize. I have tried to ensure that the journals are a guide for new and seasoned notaries who want to notarize properly. This journal is especially useful for Mortgage Notary Signing Agents who must keep detailed signer information in order to protect themselves and their clients from fraud and ID theft.

Gerrie Pierre-Fleurimond is an entrepreneur, business coach, author, public speaker, Notary Public and Certified Mortgage Signing Agent. She is the recipient of the National Notary Association's 2003 Notary of the Year Award. Gerrie is an accomplished certified Notary instructor for several states in the US. and is known as an expert in Notary laws and procedures. She is a NJ State Certified Title Insurance Producer and Instructor and teaches live Advanced Mortgage Notary Signing Agent classes.

I don't Notarize documents often, but I knew I still had to keep a record for when I did. I didn't want to purchase one of those $30 leather bound books, that just seemed like a waste. This is very plain and simply which is exactly what I wanted. I really like the first couple of pages that goes through the do's and don'ts of a Notary Public. Overall, if you're just looking for a plain and simple record keeping book that's inexpensive, then this is all you need.
