5.0 out of 5 stars A Breath of Fresh Air August 28, 2004
Format:Audio CD
Seymour Glass are a welcome breath of fresh air from the monotony that has plagued commercial alternative radio. Using strings, piano, and a bit of electronica combined with explosive guitar work and percussion, Seymour Glass create a soundscape that takes listeners on a journey through different tragedies of love & loss, and self-conflict. With melodies like "Thorazine", "A Drive By", and the radio friendly "Chemicals", the band presents a sound not heard since the likes of Smashing Pumpkins. I would highly recommend them to anyone who seeks something different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivating August 30, 2004
Format:Audio CD
Seymour Glass has recaptured a long lost music industry tradition. They have put out a great album, start to finish. Period! Go ahead, buy this album and try to tell me it's not excellent. The sounds wash over you like waves at the ocean. I'm looking forward to the live show and the next album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent chillout album! August 26, 2004
By Meagen
Format:Audio CD
I love this album. It is like a breath of fresh air. It has a great mixture of melody and rock. I'd have to say that my favorite tracks are "Hypervent", "Trigger Finger", "Thorazine", "CPR", and "A Drive By". I consider Seymour Glass to be a mixture between the Postal Service, Muse, and Ben Folds Five, with a tiny bit of Radiohead. They are definitely a great new band that everyone should keep an eye on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing September 22, 2004
Format:Audio CD
This album has a refreshingly different sound. If I had to say it was similar to anything, I'd probably say radiohead, but Seymour Glass has their own unique style and does an amazing job at mixing rock with something a little electronic - capturing a beautiful haunted quality I haven't heard since Zepplin.
