Great soundtrack,
By Angelus Waters (Los Angeles, CA USA) - See all my reviews

I love the really really old songs they used for this movie. "I'll Be Seeing You" by Billie Holiday has always been one of my favourite.
It's a shame they left out the song Allie plays on the piano. Someone was asking about it here; this is how it appears on the credits: "Prelude for Piano, Op. 28, No. 4" Written by Frédéric Chopin Performed by Robert Thies Hope you learn it well. ;)

Notebook Main Title Sheet Music,
By Adamtron (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Notebook (Audio CD)
FYI: The sheet music to The Notebook Main Title just became available this week at Musicnotes (www.musicnotes.com). Just go to their main page and do a search on Aaron Zigman. It looks like the song is in C Major and easy to play. It's for piano, but I'm sure it could be adapted to string instruments. I know this is a place to review the album's content, but since so many people were asking about the sheetmusic, I thought I would post this.

The movie and the song that is bigger than that,
This review is from: The Notebook (Audio CD)
The movie was great enjoyed it. I noticed many people looking for or wanting more information on the Nina Gordon song "Tonight and the rest of my life". If this song sounds familiar it could be because you heard it in another movie (ie. Captian Corelli's Mandolin, Chocolat) or you have heard some of her other work with "Veruca Salt".
The cd "Tonight and the rest of my life" is a title on warner brothers released in 2000. Also, worth noting, as I too was dissapointed that the song failed to appear on the soundtrack cd. The song is included in a exclusive dvd/cd product from walmart. You can also find other recordings and general information at her website www.ninagordon.com Regards, d:
