OK, I fell for the line, "Lenovo-compatible power supply for a T61p". This is a totally unlabeled product. No company. No product description except a "Warning" that says (and I am quoting) "1.)The device will not cause any harmful interference." and "2.)The device can accept the exoteric interference, including the one that may cause undesired operation."

Oh, and did I say, it failed in less than one week? When I was on the road with my notebook. Thank you, Amazon for checking out your products and sources. Beware!

The power adapter worked fine for about two weeks. The wire that connects to the wall power outlet caught on fire and burned out. Please don't waste your money on this product. I just replaced the burned out wire with my old broken power adapter.

Works great. It is a perfect replacement for the manufacturers power supply. I used this to free up the smaller and lighter power supply which came with my Lenovo X61 to keep it in my laptop case. This power supply now powers the docking station for the laptop and stays in place all the time. It is bigger but more powerful than the original.

This charger was defective. Though it works sometimes, you have to keep moving the AC adaptor to different positions in order to for it to produce charge. The position that works is still unknown to me. It was very frustrating to pay for a new charger that doesn't work, and I recently had to buy another one from a different seller because this one was unacceptable. If Amazon were a physical store, I would have taken it back but I do not have the time to package and send back.

I purposely came back here to leave a review. This thing lasted a week so stay away.

I bought two of them, one for the car and one for travel. Works fine, looks just like the original equipment

I purchased an adapter from OPTIMUM SOLUTION
The plug was too loose, but the adapter worked okay for 12 months.
It died 3 days after that. The answer was "sorry your warranty expired."
It's fine if you only need it for 1 year.
Otherwise my advice is: "DO NOT BUY!"

Just to reinforce what other people are saying, the adapter failed after two months of use. Sigh... time to find something else.

The item came within the estimated window in the good condition and is working wonderfully.

The replacement power cord for my Lenovo T60 works just like a new one, but not at the same cost.
