You get a great lab notebook here. It has 100 pages, each of them has the main page that you write on plus a carbonless duplicate page. So you can tear out the duplicate and hand that in to your teacher or boss... and keep the original copies intact and bound in the original page order for your own reference. Just remember to fold the periodic table page (which is made of thick card paper) under the duplicate page for the page that you are working on, so that you don't accidentally activate two or three duplicate pages.

The front and back cover pages are made of a thick card paper so this book is almost as sturdy as a hardcover book. The covers are also coated so that most spills will not soak into the paper. (Interior pages are not coated.) The periodic table page, which acts as a writing support that you slip behind the duplicate page for your currently active page, is permanently attached to the back cover. The following features can be found on the front and back cover pages:
0. periodic table of elements that functions as a writing support for the duplicate pages
1. C-13 and H-1 NMR shifts for spectroscopy
2. Ice/water vapor pressures at temperatures from -40 to 375 Celsius
3. formulas for computing molarity and composition % (concentration) of aqueous and non-aqueous solutions
4. formulas for % yield, % recovery, average, standard deviation, relative standard deviation
5. average bond energy for the most common single, double, and triple bonds
6. common organic functional group structure drawings
7. electromagnetic spectrum showing sections for radio, IR, visible, UV, Xray, and Gamma
8. metric units and a handful of conversion factors
9. a few enthalpy values for water
10.

Most everyone in my chem lab uses cheap looking notebooks with ugly yellow copy pages. This notebook is sturdy, has a nice reference table and a periodic table, and it works great for my purposes. Make note that the originals (top page) are perforated, rather than the copies.

I haven't even had my lab yet, but I can already tell you after three years of lab (chem major) this is the nicest lab notebook I have ever had. From all the chemical info to the quality of the pages this notebook is solid. Great price, buy it.

This is a fantastic notebook, particularly for the price. The lab notebooks at the school bookstore are way more expensive and the copy pages aren't nearly as nice as the ones in this notebook. Plus it has a periodic table and a lot of helpful formulas.

I am extremely happy with my purchase of this lab book. I am using it for a post-bach Chemistry class as a requirement for the laboratory section. It was shipped overnight and arrived in less than 24 hours to my door!
It is exactly as pictured and way cheaper than other lab books I have looked at. For $20 total you cannot beat this deal.

This notebook is fairly basic, but it does what it says it will.

Pros: The covers are very good at protecting from spills. The covers contain a lot of useful chemistry information (and a periodic table) which comes in handy every now and then. I've never had any issues with the spiral binding or with my writing bleeding through onto new pages (the protective cover is very thick and prevents any bleeding even when pressing hard).

Cons: The only complaint I have is that only the original copy pages (top page) are perforated. It is nearly impossible to turn in a carbon copy for assignments because the top and bottom sheets are bound together along the left edge of the paper. Since only the top sheet is perforated, the bottom sheet (the carbon copy) is very difficult to remove without tearing out the original copy.

Overall this notebook will performs well and I would recommend it if you don't mind keeping the carbon copies and tearing out the sheets you wrote on.

Great quality in this product. Well constructed and functions as designed. Unfortunately it will not give you an automatic A+ plus in chemistry. But it is almost that good. And, the price is hard to beat!

A labbook, a deal for the cost.
Using it in an chemistery class where I'm required to turn in a carbon copy, it does just that.
