1.0 out of 5 stars ugh
i bought this cd based on the other reviews. and when i got it, wow, i was very disappointed. this cd is not good at all. it may be good to those of you who like dashboard confessional and stuff like that, but it's not to my liking. i recommend anadivine, coheed and cambria, or armor for sleep well over this cd.

This ep is awesome. I have yet to own the cd but I recently went on mp3.com to listen to a few of the 5 songs and I loved it. It is deffinatly worth your money. If you like Dashboard Confessional type music then this is a must. It has the emotion and sound of music that we need more of. You can go to mp3.com to listen to them yourself. But be warned, you will fall in love right away.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm a sucker for pop music, and this album explains why., December 21, 2003

As much as I like hardcore and punk, this band rekindles my love for good ol' poppy emo. Don't doubt this band, because they will be huge. Just check out this ep, and I'm sure you'll agree.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have, December 19, 2003

This ep is amazing... very catchy and and their vocals are awesome. Some might compare them to the all-american rejects, but i don't hear it. I definitely think they have a musical style of their own. I recently saw jamison parker at a show and i must say that they were even better live. I highly recommend this ep to anyone who appreciates good music or any one wanting to discover a new band. I can't wait for a full-length album by these guys.

5.0 out of 5 stars i heart jamisonparker, October 30, 2003

this ep is amazing. their lyrics are so well written, and both jamison and parker are very talented along with ted and jarrod. Their ep is definitly worth the 6 dollars it costs, as i already have 2 of the tour special edition, and plan on buying the real ep. Jamison and Parker are also extremely nice and jamisonparker is also a very good band live.

5.0 out of 5 stars .. can I say best EP ever?, February 14, 2004

Saying that this EP was the best ever would simply be a understatement. For the 6 song cd, it's well worth the 7 bucks you'll spend on it. Jamison has the best lyrics I think since uh.. ever. And I mean Parker Cae is just perfect wiht his guitar. It may be a duo but this band will go and is going to go so far. Look for there soon to be out music video for "Home" it was shot at the portland, oregon and seattle, washington.. If you were at the show maybe u'll be in the video. I mean to amke that good of music and not evn had known each other before forming the band is so amazing. So buy the cd, go see them in concert, and rep them for life!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Painful Words + Beautiful Guitars = Top 10 EPs of 2003, December 24, 2003
This review is from: Notes&Photographs (Audio CD)
JamisonParker's debut EP strikes a chord with anybody familiar in the pop punk scene as being one of the best collaborative efforts by two virtual unknowns that marks their emergence as one of the best EPs of 2003. And what an entrance. The band consists of Jamison, whose heartwrending lyrics would seem to bog down the music with its painfully deep words ("Did you know you were the girl that made love a four letter word?/ I just can't wait to make you hate me a little more"), but it works surprisingly well with Parker's upbeat and sparkly guitars that ring and will leave you wanting it to go beyond its 20 minute length. That's the real magic here: the combination of rhythms and beats that should seem out of place with such emotional lyrics, yet I could not imagine it sounding any other way. I challenge you to get the record and not have the words bouncing around your head for weeks; it is that good. With an incredible EP under their belt and a full-length upcoming in 2004, look for JamisonParker to be leaving their mark on emo kids hearts and beyond.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jamison Parker rocks!, September 29, 2007
This review is from: Notes&Photographs (Audio CD)
I bought their full length album before this one, but I like this one even more! The songs are a bit more accoustic, and Jamison sounds a bit different, but I prefer it :) I'm so sad that they will never produce another album..So sad!

5.0 out of 5 stars ^_^, March 5, 2006
This review is from: Notes&Photographs (Audio CD)
I own both of their cds. But I have to say, I like this one only 1% better than "Sleepwalker". This cds contains more upbeat songs while Sleepwalker is more emo, rock, and punk. It was sad when JamisonParker broke up though, because I was looking forward to one of their concerts back in November 2005. But I'm updated with both members. Jamison Covington has a new band called Dance with the Dead. Parker Case has a new band called I and the Universe.

Ratings for each song (_ out of 5):
Home- 4
Your Song- 5
Dear Everybody- 5
Dead to the World- 4
Biting Bullets- 5
