The Proclaimers Notes & Rhymes is their third best album [This Is A Story and Sunshine on Leith are 1st and 2nd respectively]. The title track, Like a Flame, Wages of Sin, and I know (Reprise) are its solid tracks. Lyrics show their maturity as fathers. Music displays their trademark harmonies. Overall, it is good to hear them doing what they do best. In the future, it would be nice to hear them sing more raw, stripped down songs. Nevertheless, Notes & Rhymes is worth the purchase.

I became interested in the Proclaimers when they said their best interview question has been, "When did you meet?" For those who aren't familiar...they are identical twin gentleman :) This one has lots of mellow with a good shot of quick every once in a while. Besides, if David Tennant loves them, they gotta be good!
