Here is another terrific recording by the aptly named Amazing Rhythm Aces. This "amazing" band has recorded some of the best American music produced over the past 3+ decades. Russell Smith has, in cooperation with band mates and others, written some of his best songs for this set. The songs here compare with those on "Too Stuffed To Jump", "The Amazing Rhythm Aces", and all of the other masterpieces this band has given us. I recommend this CD to all lovers of great music. You can never go wrong with the "Aces".

I picked this up on 'Trade Me' really cheap, and boy did I get a bargain. Owning most of their music on vinyl, its years since I bought ACES music, and am I pleased that I did. Very laid back, very bluesy and the boys have only improved with the years, if thats possible. The vocals are like velvet, the guitar playing is awesome. These guys are so overlooked and underrated, they're like your own special secret. And what a secret! Get this CD, a few drinks, then sit back and relax!!

I'm so glad to own this piece of music from the Aces. It has been a constant companion since I bought it. But that's how a lot of Aces music is. These guys are a hidden treasure. I saw ARA the first time in the late 70's in Aspen. Russell kept dropping his picks so he had about 10 taped to the mike stand. This effort ranks right up there with their best, great playing, great songs with Russell's humor coming thru. It's to bad so many of their albums are out of print.
