this album lives in my truck. (= [that IS a good thing]
Elizabeths writing is very interesting, but some times very confusing and dark!
This album has 2 secret tracks which are good covers of the pixies 'debaser' and social distortions 'ball & chain'!

Alastor split up in 2003 and have 2 other albums, javelin catcher and the late night plays.
the latter is also a very solid album and deff worth checking out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock and roll!, April 11, 2000

This CD is great! Elizabeth Elkins has a passionate voice and the band is tight. It reminds me of PJ Harvey sometimes, and also The Pretenders. If you like thoughtful, moody alternative/indie rock, you'll love this CD!
