Contributed by children and their families from across the country, these recipes were compiled and edited by the Center's Nutritionist, Anne Roland Lee, MSEd, RD, CDE, Laura Leon, Ed.D. and the Celiac Disease Center's Teen Editor Susan Cohen, who also titled the book.
"Nothing Beats Gluten-Free Cooking" includes step-by-step gluten-free cooking guidelines, a "Glossary of Grains for the Adventurous Palate," and a special contribution by renowned expert in gluten-free cooking, Bette Hagman. The cookbook also provides valuable information about celiac disease and supportive commentary about the gluten-free diet and lifestyle from the physicians and staff of the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.
