Fun and Informative!,
This review is from: I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You! Business Secrets from the Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur (Hardcover)
Jake Steinfeld is a man with a mission and it screams from the pages of his new book, I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing On You! His mission is living life ,and not in survival mode as many do, but in fulfillment of dreams, visions and hopes.
In his book he takes you on a mini journey of his life and his rise to fame. He shares with you fears, mistakes and triumphs that he encountered along the way; and he does this in a sincere honest manner that leaves you comfortable with the author and the information that he is sharing. The main thrust of this book is to help you achieve the dream in your heart to be your own boss; look forward to going to work, and have more than a get-by existence, all the while doing something you love. His business start-up advice is top-notch, very detailed and given with a few giggles along the way. He leaves very little details out, giving much needed steps to proceed, shares advise from his heart and his words truly inspire you to charge forward. I know that this work was mainly written to help hopeful Entrepreneurs; yet I sense others maybe encouraged by Mr. Steinfeld's words in many areas of their lives. It is always refreshing when you read a success story of someone who started out with little and ended up with much; and it is sweeter when that person also is content and happy as Mr. Steinfeld is. Whether you are about to undertake a new venture in business, take a leap of faith towards your dreams or just want to smile at the success of another; this book will encourage and uplift you. A down-to-earth, face to face read awaits you in these pages and I think everyone who reads it will find at least one morsel of advise to apply in their own lives. Well done Mr. Steinfeld Shirley Johnson Senior Reviewer MidWest Book Review

The Naked Truth,
By P. King (Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You! Business Secrets from the Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur (Hardcover)
I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I first glanced at this book --What could a fitness guru teach me about business? But when I actually started reading, I was not only pleasantly surprised, I was truly inspired. Jake Steinfeld is a master story teller and he is not afraid to reveal EVERYTHING he's learned about business--the good, the bad and even the embarrassing! Jake's honesty and humor is reason enough to buy this book!
It's obvious Jake knows what he's talking about--You don't remain on top for as long as Jake has without knowing a thing or two about people, business and making smart decisions. The guy has made me a believer...and that's saying a lot!

Great Everyday Advice From Jake!,
This review is from: I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You! Business Secrets from the Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur (Hardcover)
Despite the catchy title and Jake Steinfelds fitness past the book I've Seen A Lot Of Famous People Naked isn't a weight loss guide. Even a recent feature in Star Magazine failed to mention this important fact. Steinfeld is a self-made millionaire and in this book he offers real life advice to people who wish to become entrepreneurs. As a matter of fact the books subtitle is "Business Secrets From The Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur." As other reviewers have mentioned the advice is basic such as--do something the interests you and pick a partner you can live with. However, some of the information in the book can be quite helpful to the aspiring entrepreneur who might think they know everything. Steinfeld offers the suggestion of when you go to the bank know exactly how much money you need and be prepared to detail how you will pay back money. Granted a lot of the information in the book is so called getting started in business common sense but if you are just getting started and need a road map I've Seen A Lot Of Famous People Naked is a great book to follow when you are getting started with your business venture.

So many professional help books today are written without practical "real world" experience. Jake Steinfeld's book, "I've Seen A Lot Of Famous People Naked, And They've Got Nothing On You!", is a genuinely heartfelt account of a truly entrepreneurial guy who has an extraordinarily intuitive sense about business and achieving one's potential. His ability to communicate the balance between personal and professional disciplines is particularly meaningful.
This is a realistic and valuable read for anyone starting or growing a business in today's highly competitive environment.

This review is from: I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You! Business Secrets from the Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur (Hardcover)
As you can probably tell by the title, this is one attention-grabbing, straight to the point, motivating book. And needless to say, the book, like its author, is easy on the eyes. I've seen a lot of famous people .... is a guide that addresses all aspects of starting up and running a successful business.
The author, Jake Steinfeld is a smart, savvy and very successful entrepreneur who in this book passes along his entrepreneurial wit and wisdom and details personal experiences that just about anyone can relate to and learn from. Jake takes the reader on an enlightening journey of becoming a success while teaching them not only the nuts and bolts of business but most importantly to conquer their fears and weaknesses along the way. Every page is filled with information that has the potential to mold even the most unmotivated person into a successful business leader. I recommend this book to everyone whether they are interested in becoming their own boss or not. It will certainly encourage you to go out there and make your dreams into a reality, whatever your dreams may be.

Entrepreneur or street smart huckster?,
This review is from: I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You! Business Secrets from the Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur (Hardcover)
Seriously people have you seen anyone else selling so much over priced cheaply made junk on infomercials that all make the same promise? What happened to the last wiz-bang gizmo to make you slim and trim? It did not work!!! So buy another one of my gizmos. $$$ Thanks.
Right in the first chapter Jake tells how he was just in the right place at the right time by pure luck not by some master plan. I bought Jake's last book at a discount bookstore for $1 glad I borrowed this one and saved the buck.

Don't read this book if,

This review is from: I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You! Business Secrets from the Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur (Hardcover)
Don't read this book if you want detailed directions on how to create a business plan or legally structure a company...but if you want to learn from the experience of a successful entrepreneur then this is a great read.
Jake's jump from the fitness to the business world hasn't been without criticism. Then again that's nothing new for Jake. In I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked he takes the reader through the peaks and valleys of his career starting back when he was 19-years-old. Underlying Jake's success is his "Can Do" attitude which shines through in the book. However, unlike many self-help books where the "fluff" outweighs the "real world" examples, Jake avoids this pitfall. Much of the book reads like an autobiography with an emphasis on the business lessons Jake learned along the way. I recommend this book for young entrepreneurs wanting to get into the headspace of a successful businessman. review by Jason Steinle, author of Upload Experience

I can Finally quit my day job!,
By B. Morgan (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You! Business Secrets from the Ultimate Street-Smart Entrepreneur (Hardcover)
I recently saw Jake on "Fox and Friends" when I was getting dressed for work--a job that I hated by the way! And everything he was saying rang true for me. Why was I wasting up all my creative energy and passion on a job that was literally sucking the energy right out of me? I went out that day and bought his new book, "I've Seen A Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You!". I felt like he was taking directly to me! The thing is that I have always had this idea of a business I wanted to start but just has never had the courage to follow through... but after reading this book, I'm not afraid anymore. The funny thing is, once I made the decision to just do it-- everything has fallen into place! I May not win the contest he talked about on the show--but it doesn't matter, because I'm already so far ahead of the game...and I'm never looking back!

Jake "Body by Jake" Steinfeld knows a thing or two about building muscles, but I had no idea he was so savvy about building a business! After reading "I've Seen a Lot of Famous People Naked, and They've Got Nothing on You!", I realize how much Jake has exercised my mind and got me thinking in a whole new way about how I can put my ideas to work for me.
