5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book
The book presents another side of this issue, is factual and very well written! Read it and the Evolution dogma will fall like a house of cards...enter a new paradigm!

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't read this book, use youtube instead
The only thing you really need to see in order to get the breadth of Ray Comfort's books are the videos of him on youtube. Whether from his ministry/supporting youtubers or from his opponents, it does not take much viewing to see his complete ignorance (or feigned ignorance in an effort to build straw men arguments) of the scientific method, evolution, abiogenesis,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Religious Studies libraries and students will relish the attention to detail, January 18, 2010
This review is from: Nothing Created Everything: The Scientific Impossibility of Atheistic Evolution (Hardcover)
NOTHING CREATED EVERYTHING: THE SCIENTIFIC IMPOSSIBILITY OF ATHEISTIC EVOLUTION uses science itself to argue against the theory of evolution, confronting atheists on their own ground and using their own arguments to claim that it's atheists who preach a faith-based doctrine. Followers of evolution offer science fiction, Ray Comfort maintains - and point by point, Comfort makes his case. Religious Studies libraries and students will relish the attention to detail.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enlightening, November 12, 2010
This review is from: Nothing Created Everything: The Scientific Impossibility of Atheistic Evolution (Hardcover)
This book helped to explain a lot of Christian views for me. I believe there can be proof of a God at a spiritual level, but I don't believe there can be proof of no God. To be an Atheist is to proclaim that there is zero possibility of any God and it's just too hard to look around this world and apply logic and reason and get a result that says "order came out of chaos" when quite the opposite is true.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully Simple Logic!, November 10, 2009
This review is from: Nothing Created Everything: The Scientific Impossibility of Atheistic Evolution (Hardcover)
Congratulations, Ray, for simply, lightheartedly and very rationally stating the obvious in this wonderful book. The title alone displays in three simple words the gross irrationality of atheistic science.

It still baffles me how otherwise intelligent people could even entertain the notions that the universe exploded out of virtually nothing all by itself or that the myriad species of life on earth originated from non-life all by itself, regardless of the time involved!

Scientific discovery will inevitably converge with truth; and in light of more recent announcements by formerly atheistic Darwinian scientists made possible by advancements in science technology, it is finally getting there.

I think most people that cling so desperately to their faith in the non-existence of a divine creator God do so under the false impression that Darwin somehow proved that God doesn't exist, while we know that Darwin never even attempted to prove any such thing!

Considering how much evidence there now exists that a divine Creator originally created the various species intact, while there is no evidence whatsoever to the contrary, I consider that an atheist's white knuckled grip on his/her totally irrational faith in the non-existence of God surpasses ignorance to insanity.

Perhaps there are even some who still insist on clinging to the old scientific theories that the earth is flat, or that the sun revolves around the earth, or that Pluto is a planet. "I don't care what the truth is! I'm going to keep believing what I've always believed!"

The only thing you really need to see in order to get the breadth of Ray Comfort's books are the videos of him on youtube. Whether from his ministry/supporting youtubers or from his opponents, it does not take much viewing to see his complete ignorance (or feigned ignorance in an effort to build straw men arguments) of the scientific method, evolution, abiogenesis, cosmology, etc. He repeats his pre-written arguments over and over when a camera is on him to the point that you can predict his statements before he makes them.

His most recent example evolutionary ignorance is when he argues how ridiculous it is to believe that a male dog completely evolved by itself (legs, tail, snout, etc) and mate with a female dog that completely evolved by itself to the point that it is genetically compatible with the mating male and can provide viable offspring. You will see this in the majority of his newer videos, which I'm guessing is being pushed in lieu of his banana-man shame (he no longer uses that stupid argument).

Seriously, watch his videos for free and save your money for a biology textbook if you'd actually like to educate yourself.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some apologetics and some evangelism, December 11, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nothing Created Everything: The Scientific Impossibility of Atheistic Evolution (Hardcover)
A good book for struggling/searching atheists who question their religion. It's also an excellent book for Christians who need, or could use some additional insight and ideas concerning proof of creation by the God of the universe. I recommend this book for all adults.

5.0 out of 5 stars Where did logic come from anyway?, December 28, 2009

This work by Ray can only be understood if an individual understands where logic came from. I noticed one comment about logic; this person could never explain the origin of logic!! If they could, their understanding of Ray's book would open up their understanding of many areas of life. This work was better than excellent.

Stop picking on Comfort just beause he made one li'l mistake about bananas.
Yet you dont bat an eyelash about the odds of evolution, 5 billion monkeys typing 100 words per second for 5 billion years not one of the monkeys would type a single sentence without spelling errors. Yet its more likely 1 monkey would type a sentence without errors than life coming from non-life.
