Love Lee Mead. Love this CD. What an amazing young man with an incredible voice. I loved almost all the songs on this album, but I thought the producers could have replaced a couple of tired pieces with something that could really spotlight his unbelievable talent.
I play this CD every day. Way to go Lee for a great run at the West End and a great album.

I discovered Lee just recently on BBC America where I watched him win the part of Joseph on the reality series "Any Dream Will Do" I had picked him from the start to win the competition and was delighted when he did. I bought this album soon after and have pretty much played it every day in my car. What a talent, great voice and cute as well! I love the cover songs but would like to have more original music on the next album. He has the vocal chops to sing just about anything. Lee is going to be around for years to come. Hopefully soon he will be more well known in America. He deserves all the success that is sure to come.

I bought this after watching Lee win Any Dream Will Do. He was my pic btw.
I've had it playing since it got here. Listening to it right now as a matter of fact. My favorite song so far is #8 Holding on to Letting Go. The rhythm of the melody just sinks in to you.

Love the new album!,

I bought this album a few weeks ago and have played it in my car almost constantly! It's great that, although Lee Mead is best known for playing the role of Joseph in London's West End, he hasn't gone down the obvious road of recording an album of well-known musical theatre standards but has chosen a much more interesting set of songs. I particularly love his cover of the Spandau Ballet classic 'Through the Barracides' and the new self-penned ballad 'Breathe You Out' which both show off Lee's warm, slightly husky vocals to good effect. The duet with Hayley Westenra 'When the Stars Go Blue' is also lovely.

The quality I have appreciated most about Lee Mead is his ability to interpret a lyric, obviously a result of years of musical theater. This CD does not disappoint. I especially love his rendition of the title song, "Through the Barricades" and "More Than Words". I highly recommend this CD and I hope that his management will arrange for a US visit for Lee to promote it properly.

I can't stop listening to this cd. I can't even pick a favorite, all the songs have a life of their own. I hope America catches on to this awesome performer. I would love to see him in concert here. Lee's voice just haunts me. This cd is going with me everywhere!

Lee's voice and choice of material is easy to listen to. He has the looks and the talent to take him far on the Broadway boards and in recordings. Looking forward to his next album. This one is a definite winner.

Lee is vocal perfection. I am a very new fan, but I now have both his albums and they go into my special keeper box.

Lee Mead fought his way to the top of Andrew Lloyd Weber's search for the next "Joseph" for the re-release of "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", and showed the world his stuff with style and grace. He is an incredibly talented young man with the voice of an angel. Listening to his music is pure joy. I hope he will be singing for us for many, many, years to come. Thanks for the great music, Lee!
