Greg Burk may not be as well known as other piano players of his generation but in this disc he shows he is a contender to watch. His compositions are strong although his playing owes a tad to Paul Bley (which is definitely not a bad thing!) and the other members of this trio (Swallow & Moses) are in their peak (as they've been for the last 35 years). So this comes warmly recommended to those who love free-ish jazz trios with a playful, adventureous and melodic notion. Just great!
