More About the Author
Nova Scotia Poet & Author Natasha Head has been weaving words since she was but a wee lass running with crayons and scribblers. Founding Member of the New World Creative Union and recurring host of OpenLinkNight at dVersePoets, Natasha's work has been featured both online and in print. Her debut collection "Nothing Left to Lose" is now available through Winter Goose Publishing as was recently named as nominee for the 2012 Pushcart Prize. March 2013 will see her new release "Pulse" hit the shelves, along with "Signals From Static" a collaboration project of global poets released by Chromatopia LLC.

This collection of poems runs through the everyday life events of a young woman with poetic beauty. I found some of the poems, such as 'She Runs', particularly resonated with me, and I found the words comforting. A perfect book to pick up and browse when you need a break from everything.

Nothing Left to Lose has poetry concerning many different, and some controversial topics. As you sink into Natasha's carefully written words, you'll find yourself molded into the poetry itself. So many I connected to, but I fell in love with Frozen, Reflection, and Empathy. So many emotions, so much spirit, so much life...

Natasha lays out her heart with honesty. It is poems of life, how she weathered it and leaves the reader with hope. One of my favorite poems is "Change." Her words paint the inevitable with promise. She clearly sends the message to take a breath and go with it.
