5.0 out of 5 stars A great follow up CD from their "Feelin' Sorry" debut album.
This is a must-have if you either have their first album, or just like fast ska that you can skank to. I think that both of the Cds they have are both exellent, and that Jeffries Fan Club is one of the best ska bands I've ever heard. They have great horns, too. So, overall, you definately have got to own this album if you like ska.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent ska band...
Don't get me wrong - I like JFC a lot - but the lyrics to their songs just aren't that original. The songs are catchy (especially One More Time and Something Good)... and the music is upbeat... but I can't listen to it more than once a week, you know? Give it a try, but I wouldn't by any means classify it as one of the greatest ska albums of all time.

4.0 out of 5 stars good driving music, January 9, 2000
This review is from: Nothing to Prove (Audio CD)
I bought this cd over Amazon about three weeks ago. I never heard of the group before, but I previewed it, and thought they sounded kind of good. So I bought it. And after putting in in my car and just driving, the band really grew on me. They are catchy and a happy ska band. Basically, like driving no where special, JFC is a fun band to listen to

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Ska I Have Ever Heard!, September 2, 1999
By A Customer

Jeffries Fan Club is my favorite ska band, period. Their music is catchy and talented, and their lyrics are intelligent, amusing, and uplifting. This CD makes me feel good no matter what mood I am in when I put it on. At first I thought all the songs on this CD sounded the same, but after a few listens I realized each song had a unique feel and message, and every song I could identify with personally (because I am also a loser when it comes to love, like the guys in JFC :) The hidden rap track is cool too, because it doesn't take itself seriously. The only CD that could possibly be better than this is the re-release of their first album, coming in September!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars I am surprised!, May 10, 2000
This review is from: Nothing to Prove (Audio CD)
When I first listened to JFC I thought the music was kind of boring, but that time I listened to a tape. Now that I have the CD I really am surprised. JFC plays really good, catchy ska, hmmm, maybe ska-punk. The only reason I didn't put down 5 stars is, that I don't like the voice too much, but the music is great. If you don't have this CD yet I would recommend you to buy it - at least if you are somewhat into ska or ska-punk.

5.0 out of 5 stars SOLID, FIRST-RATE POP/SKA, March 16, 1999
By A Customer

My band (The Existors) opened for JFC in Poulsbo, WA. We had also seen them open for RBF the previous night. They are great. I really enjoy their music (as do the rest of the Existors). For some strange reason I wasn't that impressed with them until I got the cd and listened to them. Then I instantly fell in love. (sometimes live performances don't reflect a bands true talents) If you enjoy bands in a similar (sort of) vein such as Reel Big Fish, Five Iron Frenzy, etc., you will definitely love JFC's tunes. TO JFC: Hey guys, we would be honored to play with you again sometime. You ROCK! (and we would like to rock in your general vicinity)

Jeffries Fan Club is the best skja band ever to come out of Caclifornia. Their first cd is much better and no longer reachable but JFC is still the best O.C. ska band ever
