This is another release of Hades' incredible first two albums Resisting Success & If at First You Don't Succeed, along with one additional bonus track (Force Quit). These albums are so great that I have purchased every different CD release of them which I've been able to find over the years. If you like this band and you're a completist like me, pick them both up.
Here is my review from the other set: If you were a fan of speed metal in the 80s and were never exposed to Hades when these two albums came out, boy did you miss something great! But now you have your chance to check them out. I put these albums up there with the best of all time. Yep, right up there with the likes of Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets, Among The Living, Number of The Beast, etc. I would be conservative in saying that I've listened to both of them HUNDREDS of times, back when they were on records and tapes. CD releases have been rare over the years so do yourself a favor and get them both right now in this 2 for 1 set. You will NOT be disappointed!!! Almost forgot to mention: If you're a metal musician, you'll love the amazing drumming of T. Coombs! |
