5.0 out of 5 stars No More Drama in their life can they achieve that?
"Nothing but Drama" is the perfect title for this novel by newcomer Antony Moussignac. I believe she has come to make her mark in romance genre. I truly enjoyed this novel and was cheering for the three sister friends to come out on top. I will be on the look out for her next novel.

"Nothing but Drama" is the perfect title for this novel by newcomer Antony Moussignac. I believe she has come to make her mark in romance genre. I truly enjoyed this novel and was cheering for the three sister friends to come out on top. I will be on the look out for her next novel.

We meet a sister triangle of friends with a bond that is unbreakable. Monica Steven is moving up the ranks in her career. Monica is also dealing with the after effects of her recent break up with Michael. At a celebration for her 30th birthday she meets bartender Sean Madison. Never once realizing that the mutual attraction she shares with Sean will turn into more. What is the problem Sean is only twenty-two yrs old. Michael is not giving up so easy he is there to throw salt in the game.

Shauna Knowles is happy with her life or so she thinks. When Shauna has a chance meeting; at a coffee shop with her Ex Peter Morris from H.S. Seeing Peter stirs up the pot and makes her look at her relationship with her very attractive Doctor Fiancé. When secrets are exposed, she has to make some serious choices.

Tina Sommers is harboring feelings of abandonment. Tina cannot get pass the hurt and anger she feels towards her ex for leaving during her pregnancy. When Bryan comes back into her son life, she has a hard time dealing with it. Tina is struggling to keep her ill feelings from their son. Coupled with keeping she is still in love with Bryan from him.

This novel is filled with nothing but drama for real. I was thrust into the story line and loved every minute of it. I could not wait to get to the end and find out how the lives of these three women were going to turn out. I was not disappointed in the end at all. In fact, I appreciated the curves balls that were thrown in.

4.0 out of 5 stars Friends To The End, June 1, 2009
This review is from: Nothing but Drama (Paperback)
Monica, Tina, and Shawna are strong black women who are thick as thieves. They have each others back through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Even in the midst of all the drama they will be friends to the end.

Monica just turned the big 3-0 and is steadily climbing the corporate ladder. Everything is going well for her except for one thing, having a man that she can call her own. She just broke up with her ex, Michael, who was causing more drama than the law allows, and she refuses to make that mistake again. Monica meets a tender roni that makes her quiver and feel like the real woman that she is. Will she miss out on an opportunity of falling in love?

Tina is a single mother that is bitter about her baby daddy's abandonment after the birth of their son. Now Bryan is back in the picture making up with his son but has moved on with his love life. The thought constantly crosses Tina's mind what would've been if they were still together.

Shawna is engaged to be married to a prominent doctor. She feels she won't live up to the expectations of being a doctor's wife according to her future mother-in-law. A blast from her past comes back into her life and makes her feel like a silly school girl all over again. Will Shawna be able to suppress her feelings for her ex and move forward with her nuptials?

"Nothing But Drama" was good to the last drop. There was never a dull moment. The ladies' friendship was so real and vivid, it reminds me of my friendship I have with my sista circle. Towards the end of this wonderfully written novel I was pretty saddened by the turn of events. I'm impressed with Ms. Moussignac's creativity and looking forward to reading more of her novels in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Drama Please...., October 31, 2011
This review is from: Nothing but Drama (Paperback)
This novel was the cause of my losing sleep for two days. Once I started it was impossible to put down. The characters diversity and range of emotion create a deep personal connection for the reader. Ms. Moussignac truly captures the essence of friedship and its power. This novel makes you nostalgic for great relationships such as the ones in the book or desirous for one if you've never had to pleasure to experience it! Kudos! Can't wait to see what up next!

3.0 out of 5 stars (3.5 Stars) Three The Hard Way..., May 7, 2009
This review is from: Nothing but Drama (Paperback)
Nothing But Drama introduces three best friends, Monica, Tina, and Shauna and the drama that they encounter in their everyday lives. Monica is a college graduate with a promising career. She's recently broken up with Michael, a man she swore was her soul mate. That is until a young cutie named Sean enters the scenario, and has her doubting all of her preconceived notions.

Tina is a single mom that finished college despite her status and broken heart. Circumstances have caused her baby daddy back in their lives and as much as she resents him because of his desertion and the pain he caused, her heart and body are singing a different song. Shauna skipped college to raise her siblings after her parents death. She meets Keith who's a successful surgeon and he's willing to give her the world without his presence more often than not. Doubts appear amid wedding plans as well as an intriguing man from Shauna's past.

Antony Moussignac's debut novel has made an impressive introduction into the literary world. The story's theme is interesting, relatable, encouraging, and has made a common theme one of its very own with a unique style and voice. Nothing But Drama is indeed that, and it has you involved from the ups and downs the characters deal with on a daily basis. I would highly recommend this as a entertaining read.
