About the Author
Gail Rudd Entrekin grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and holds an M.A. in English from Ohio State University. For many years an editor and production manager for the Berkeley Poets Workshop and Press, she teaches writing and literature at Sierra College. John Danced (BPW&P, 1984) was her first collection of poems. In 1996 she served as editor of the California Poets in the Schools anthology of poetry by children. She lives in the Sierra foothills of California with her husband, poet Charles Entrekin, and three of their five children.
