This large, handsomely self-covered book contains 120 beautifully reproduced duotone portraits (including three 8-page gatefolds) of a diversity of today's personalities, from Merce Cunningham to Magic Johnson, from Stephen Hawkins to Cher. This was the first book by Ritts I ever purchased.I found it to be an amazing collection of portraits of everyone from Madonna and Sean Penn to Pee-Wee Herman. A definite must have for a fan of Herb Ritts' work. He has become my favorite contemporary photographer at the moment.I strongly recommend it.

I have purchased all of Herb Ritts books. He was an amazing visionary. I am a photographer as well, and see him as one of my all time idols. His passing was sad for me. At least we have something to remember him by.
