This is simply a great CD. It covers the entire spectrum of country music - upbeat ballad (Daddy Never Was...) Love Song (Summer in Dixie) Honky Tonk (I am Just a Rebel) Blues (Roll the Dice). Everything is great on this album but this group faded quickly. I heartily recommend this CD.

Confederate Railroad - Underrated!!,

This is a perfect example of some of the great music of the early '90's that we are lacking in today's country industry. This CD covers it all, from heart-tugging ballads (Summer In Dixie, Three Chords), to tongue-in-cheek fun-timers (Elvis and Andy), to just great country songs (Roll The Dice). This CD shows the broad range of talent that Confederate Railroad has. They may not headline anymore - but for a few years, Confederate Railroad had their grip on Americana. This CD shows exactly why.

I really enjoyed Confederate Railroad's first CD and I couldn't wait for this to be released. When it finally was I rushed out to buy. That was my first mistake. I then listened to it and found it to be a huge disappointment. The witty, tongue-in-cheek southern humor was replaced by cheesy stupid songs like Elvis and Andy along with move over Madonna. Do yourself a favor and limit your CRR purchases to their 1st CD you won't be disappointed!
