This is a DVD of an early 80's show with many of their early classics.Recorded by Jettisoundz Video Crew from a show on April 23rd, 1984, you get all the feel of a raucous glam band in an intimate venue/small club. Many early 80's video tricks, well edited in my opinion and a nice view of the stage. The show early on seems to focus on Monroe and McCoy, but there are band shots throughout of course, and different angles for each song. The product description up above is the correct set list, on the menu of the DVD and the outside packaging of the DVD case the songs Lightning Bar Blues is actually "Mental Beat", and Don't Follow Me is actually the song "Lost In The City"...no big deal, but it's worth noting when you use the chapters/select a song to see and hear. Highlights for me were "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" into "Don't You Ever Leave Me", and the band seems in top form with the timing throughout the show, very tight....yet loose at the same time, but that's what makes them so legendary to me I guess. And of course Monroe breaks out the Sax (and Harmonica at one point) for "Malibu Beach Nightmare", and "Underwater World". I did get a kick when Monroe wishes everyone a Merry Christmas, perhaps that's something he did at every show, because I remember that comment from All Those Wasted Years, maybe if you are at a Hanoi show it does feel like Christmas?! Anyway, "Taxi Driver" is here of course also, and then there's the finale of the chaotic "Blitzkrieg Bop" that when the smoke clears, and the stage is cleared, we see Monroe on Drums; and Razzle on vocals; great way to end the show. I Purchased this along with their latest studio release "Street Poetry", hope to give full review soon. Recommended also is their recent other studio releases "Twelve Shots on The Rocks", and "Another Hostile Takeover". Michael Monroes solo work from the late 80's into today is good stuff also, I have a few of his solo releases, and he just get's better and better it seems. He and Hanoi Rocks is one of the greatest glam rock bands/artists of all time and deserve to be in the RNR Hall Of Fame,

This is must for fans of REAL ROCK & ROLL. Hanoi Rocks hits the stage like there no next second much less no tomorrow. They play hard and fast and glamorous. This DVD will get your blood flowing even if you are dead. It's fun and exciting and a great moment in time captured once and for all. Buy it, steal it, copy it, but it's a MUST HAVE.

this is a front row seat. Not the best video definition, but it's a great opportunity to see this band live, the precursor to G&R etc
