This older video is still very useful in understanding the process of language acquisition. I use it as an "opener" in a class in reading theory. I wish it could be redone and additional and newer research findings added. Go to it, Nova!

I use this video in my linguistics classes, and it's always a big hit. It is very well done and quite comprehensive in its coverage of the major themes of language acquisition research. The students are also thrilled to see the psycholinguists that we've been reading about in person. And of course the kids featured are enchanting.
