This is the program I have been looking for - easy, fast and loaded with ideas for both ready-made and from scratch projects. Up and running faster than I thought. So glad I found Print Artist Gold.

I find this product very cumbersome to use. In terms of the content of the images and ready-made projects, it's excellent. It's the little things, however, where the program stumbles.
When searching for graphics, you have to apply your search term to each category individually and there are at least 30 different categories. This becomes very time consuming, particularly if you are like me and are always searching for the most perfect image. I feel compelled to check every section because the thought of missing the perfect image aggravates me.
When making a full sheet of labels or business cards, you have to make one version and then copy and paste to the remaining 29 labels, 9 business cards, etc. If you've made a mistake, guess what, you have to fix each one individually.
Editing text is very difficult. If you go into a text box and pick your font, colors, and size and apply them, it doesn't always hold onto your selections. You have to make the same edits repeatedly. There is also no format painter to allow for quick formatting.
These types of issues are the norm and there are countless others that I don't have time to list here, but make using this program a chore instead of a pleasure.
I don't recommend this program. I regret purchasing it and am in the market for a new program.

I have been a Print Artist fan for over a decade, in fact my beloved version was Print Artist 8. I loved it because of three main things 1)I could copy and paste items from Word into a Print Artist project, 2) I could easily search the graphics library via keyword or category, 3) There was an envelope template that I could address, add graphics to and then cut out, fold and paste to fit with the cards I made. NONE of those items are available in this Print Artist.

My old version naturally is not compatible with Vista so I was forced to upgrade when I got a new computer. Apparently the old Print Artist was created by another company that has since gone out of business. This version of Print Artist is easy to move through but the "search" box for graphics is worthless. All words used show "no graphic available" which then requires going through the graphics in a hunt and pick fashion and sure enough what you find SHOULD match a search keyword but didn't. The "search" box shows up on the screen when creating a new project but here the use of the box nets nothing....apparently it is there for decoration only.

I give this version 2 stars because you can create a decent card minus an envelope and because the support was receptive to my email inquiries and complaints. They did respond within 24 hours to give further instructions or to explain the situation. Maybe future versions will be a blast from the past and have the features that I found to be so great and extremely workable.

I have used this program to generate custom greeting cards and they are so effective as you can persoanlize them giving them added appreciation.
The program is easy and can be used for any type of graphic display.

I have used print project software by Broderbund for many years, but decided to try this instead. I LOVE it! You actually get a paper user manual like the old days. I have found this easy to use, and worth every penny.

I have been using Print Artist since it first came out. It's a great program and now that they have added scrapbooking graphics, it's even better. Love It!

This program is wonderful. We did not own a program like this and are enjoying using it. The whole family is having fun and it is fairly easy to use. I'm sure that the more expensive programs may be better but for doing regular family stuff like Greeting Cards, Invitations and such I highly Recommend this.

The program has a lot of new projects and cards. But it is very hard to operate. Using the graphics is very bad and to slow. You have to search every catagory to find what you are looking for. You cant just search the graphic you want. It takes way to long to find what you need. It would be great program to use if it wasnt for the poor graphic search. The previous version was so much easer to use. I wish I had know this before purchasing it because I would of purchase another program.

I had Print Artist years ago but it did not work with Windows Vista. Another company now produces this product but in my opinion it is not nearly as good as the original.
