The software is terrific for editing photos. It has the best "Quick Fix" I've seen on any other software I've used. It has great effects to add, however, the ease of use is somewhat complicated. I've had to refer to the manual several times, because there is so much to learn on the software. I love the product, however, the rebate submission has already been 10 weeks with no rebate from Nova. This isn't the first time I've encountered rebate problems from this company.

I bought photo impact pro 11 with the understanding that it will work with vista. It even has a sticker on the box that says it. I installed it on my computer and it doesn't do anything at all but freeze up my computer. I uninstalled it and tried again and nothing. I downloaded the patch and nothing. I contacted the company and they never replied to my email. This was a waste of time and money and I would recommend that anyone who is interested in this should run the other way.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! A third of the program won't launch, half the discs can't be read, some parts are never installed. Tech support? after being asked to register the product for the fifth time I found a long list of the same problems I have, with the "support" of no solution available at this time. I feel ripped off, and I'm not sure NOVA exists....

First of all I could not get this program to install on my computer. Tech. support is non existent. I tried all the things listed on the web site and only succeeded in crashing my computer. I spent hours getting it back in order. I am returning it for a refund.

I bought this software a few months ago, beginning of 08, just because it looked like it had everything I needed, it installed the 1st time on my computer, brand new computer, bought in jan 08,,but many components were missing, it wouldn't let me use the animation features, or make banners or anything, I called nova, they told me to do many things from wiping the disk to uninstalling, etc, so we did, and it refused to install back, and we called nova again..was on hold for an hour and the guy hung up on me because he said he couldnt hear me, so I spent another hour on hold again to talk to someone, they sent me a new disk, nice of them, it still refuses to install on my computer even in safe mode, nobody knows why...so I have this software that I paid 99.99 for that will no operate, I tried it on 3 different computers btw to test it..waste of money..in my opinion

This software is the most frustrating tool I've EVER used. It is not at all intuitive. When doing fine work with Bezier, it will just decide to close my area or drop it off completely as if I never started. The magic wand is only as good as your color differences are extreme, no matter what. If you have a black haired person against a mottled background, you lose chunks of the head. I've been struggling with this tool for nearly two weeks and have never used so many cuss words in my life. I'm going to dump this and go buy PhotoShop. My blood pressure is worth the difference!

The packaging was very nice and orderely and looked professional but when I went to install it there was an errer message in the installation hat I can't help but believe was known to be there by the seller thus the low price.

I do a lot of photo restoration for genealogy buffs; Photo Impact 11 is, by far, the best program I've found for the job. It employs an easy-to-learn toolset that allows expert level work with layers, cloning and objects. Photo Impact allows me to work quickly and provide the same professional level results available with Photoshop and Corel for a fraction of the cost. I gave away my copies of those programs when I discovered Photo Impact 11... it's that good.

Nova was recently purchased by Corel, and the new version is nice ..but cannot compete with Nova's version eleven.

Only two drawbacks: the installation is a bit time-consuming since four disks are involved ...and the program wants to be registered to access all the features available. (If you are installing on Vista, be sure to install as Administrator.)

Awesome product! Easy to use. Transforms your pictures to make you look more beautiful. Definitely recommend.

I have been using Photo Impact for at least 8 years and it is the single best photo editing software on the market, especially for the price. I am a professional web developer and this is the first software I always insist my employer buy if I have to change jobs. It not only has tons of one-click fixes and fun tools for photos, but it also has serviceable HTML output, a full-featured gif animation program and a nice photo organizing utility. It does just about everything Photoshop does, but it's infinitely easier to use and a heck of a lot cheaper. I would (and have... repeatedly) recommend this software to anyone with a digital camera and the need to fix and edit photos, and that's just a fraction of what this amazing program can do.
