Brad Dayley is a software engineer on the Novell Critical Problem Resolution team with nine years of experience with Novell products. He is the coauthor of Novell ZENworks for Desktops 4 Administrator's Handbook and Novell ZENworks for Servers 3 Administrator's Handbook. Ron Tanner is the Novell ZENworks product manager, defining the future of ZENworks products. He has been with Novell since 1993, and has been involved with the ZENworks project since its inception. He is the coauthor of Novell ZENworks for Desktops 4 Administrator's Handbook and Novell ZENworks for Servers Administrator's Handbook.

IT professionals are constantly asked to get more done with fewer resources. Let me first say I really like Zenworks and have since 1.0. I purchased the ZENworks 6.5 Suite Administrator's handbook as well. Both books lack serious depth beyond the on-line documentation and the help files. I was looking to this book to cover, in depth, details about Imaging and the Middle Tier server. While there are details covering Imaging, I don't see any additional information above and beyond the on-line documentation and the help files. As far as the Middle Tier server - don't bother. The authors didn't. There is a section on installing the server telling the user how to fill in the DNS name and such but no real substance. And that's it! There is NO section on how to use the Middle Tier services or why one would want to. There is more information about the Middle Tier server in the ZENworks for Desktops 4 Administrator's handbook (written by the same authors) than the author's latest two offerings combined! I get the feeling that these books aren't so much written as just re-written from previous books - repackaging the same information be it useful or not. All in all, if you want a book for your shelf, buy this one. If you want a book you can use - keep looking.

This is a waste of money it is the same that you can find online in PDF file. I was expected some more detailed information. I went online after purchase and I was disappointed that on Google I can find more.
