These planter boxes were actually better than I had expected. They are heavy duty and well made. The price was excellent, as I had looked at different web sites to find the planter boxes that best suited us.

I've had the 48" Windsor windowbox for about 5 years now and it still looks brand new. It is beneath our kitchen window facing the street, and I've gotten so many lovely compliments on it (and the floral displays I put in it!) over the years. I highly recommend this product!

I like this window box so much I ordered a 48" one for my mother's big window. It's handy to have herbs growing so close to the kitchen. Get someone who knows how to use a drill and a hammer if you're not handy yourself.

This is one of the best investments I have made for my home. The only downside is strangers stopping frequently and asking where we found these wonderful window boxes. Although a bit pricey, it is worth every cent. We have shopped all over and these are simply the best. The boxes are very sturdy despite all the weight after we water them. Also, very easy to install.

I am in a great position to review this item as I purchased identical units from another manufacturer.

These units are high quality planters. They have the ability to be connected together for the purpose of irrigation, maintainence and upkeep.
The brackets provided are designed to accomodate the filled planted weight including soil, plants and water.

I originally purchased 2 custom units from an internet provider and was happy as the units were as described. After an extended wait, I required a third unit. Going back to the same manufacturer, I found the price had doubled! (Let's NOT talk about the economy!) An extensive seach turned up similar results.

I was then fortunate to find Novelty. They offered the IDENTICAL box at remarkable savings! It is my understanding they also offer custom manufacturing...while my box was a standard size, perhaps the savings extends to their custom orders.

Novelty offered great communication concerning the purchase progress along the way. The box was delivered promptly and packaged professionally. No problems at all.

Again, it is IDENTICAL to boxes featured on the top gardening sites.

I heartily recommend Novelty and I am extemely happy with the quality of this box, the packaging and the shipment details. I'm sure you will be too!

The flower boxes with brackets attached to my brick house with no problem. They are attractive and I expect them to hold up very well with little or no maintenance. I believe they are overpriced but am pleased overall with the quality of the product.

I bought 2 of these planters over a year ago. Highly recommend them. They are very attractive, sturdy, and roomy. Easy to keep clean. I only wish the deer didn't like them so much...

I have had two of these on the front of my house for several years. They are absolutely wonderful! They are very sturdy, surprisingly easy to hang, and still look almost brand new. My plants thrive in them and they require no maintenance, except for an occasional rinse with the hose. I left mine white, and they have not discolored, cracked, or weathered at all. I am now buying two more of them for the back of my house. Highly recommended!

We had some work done on our porch and this left a need for a 6'+ planter box to cover an area under it. Well if you're reading this then you've probably been shopping around for a while because they seem so expensive. I decided that rather than lining up two 36" boxes, I'd risk the price of this one and I can say I'm very happy. Amazon listed the weight as 1 lb which really got me scared that this product was a flimsy piece of plastic but it actually weighs around 20lb and is very sturdy.

The box itself is large and has thick walls and a small steel bar in the center to aid the sturdiness. The finish is pure gloss - very shiny which is nice. It has an irrigation system for when it's placed in an area which won't get rain often. Unfortunately if you intend to put this item where a sprinkler or rain can get at it frequently you have to drill about 20 3/8" holes in the spine of the unit before adding soil.

Because of this hassle and the cost itself I knocked off a star. Recommended but it's pricey and may need altering the day you get it.

This is a great product - they are on the front of our 1930's home, and everyone says they look just like they've always been on the house. A perfect fit, and I love the fact that they are zero maintenance!
