I ordered these magic toys for a summer camp class. They are simple mechanical magic tricks for the absolute beginner. The kids picked up the magic tricks with some adult help as the directions are not very well written. The tricks themselves worked fine. The kids in the class were in grades 4 - 6 and they could do the tricks with a fair amount of proficiency with a couple hours of practice. For beginners the tricks gave them a good place to start.
