I have always like bands who come out with these longer songs where there are transitions from quite or slower parts and then culminate with a slow, wailing guitar riff that changes the whole song. Most bands have these songs but only a few really become classics in my mind anyway. Songs like Zeppelins Stairway to Heaven, the Beatles Let It Be, Madam Blue by Styx have those great transition points. Queen also has several that fit this bill. To me, this Guns N' Roses song fits that bill.

I'm in the process of using some extra Amazon credit (thanks MT) to buy a few music tracks here and there, and I decided this morning to finally buy this song. I've heard it for years, and I have a habit of thinking about this song at funerals (I know my brother in law would have been OK with that), but I've never actually owned it until now.

Good song with an amazing ending.

Because of this song, I will forgive Axl for almost everything. Almost.

All I can say is, this song is musically very well put together, easy on the ears. It allows all of the band's members to exhibit their talents.

One of the songs that reminds me when I was a teenager. Watching this video on MTV when they actually played videos.

One of my favorite songs. It sounds like a sad song but has such a positive message. Nice long version.
