pretty good,

This review is from: Now and Always (Paperback)
Now and Always is a very easy read. It flows smoothly in most parts. It was a little predictable though. I was about half way through the book when I had a good idea of how it would end. But overall it was very good. I loved the characters, especially Ben with his signs and fun loving personality!

I LOVED this book! It was interesting, suspenseful, and had a good Biblical message and lesson. Hope to read more like this....

Seemed like a rough draft to me.,
This review is from: Now and Always (Paperback)
I bought this book at a local bargain outlet, based solely on the author. Every book I've read by her, to this point, has been thoroughly enjoyable and well-written. I am not sure what happened with this one, however. I really felt like I'd somehow bought the rough draft of this story.
Please read something else she has written ( I suggest "Monday Morning Faith" -before you choose to read this one. I found it choppy, lacking substance, and totally unrepresentative of her wonderful historically based series I have read prior.

A "must have" for my personal library,

I read this book and then bought it because I enjoyed the story so much I wanted to read it more than once. My heart was touched by the stories of the women Katie cared for and the ministry she worked so hard to protect. And I loved the interplay between Katie and Sheriff Ben. I was rooting for the underdog from the very first.

a good story but parts drag,
This review is from: Now and Always (Paperback)
i liked this book but i was geeting sick of knowing about the main characters addiction to lattes and i knew in the middle of the book who was harrasing her. i lkie that even though she came from an abusive background she still wanted to help abused women. i was wondering how the women in the shlter kenw about the place. she said her income came from medical transcriptions but there was one clininc in the whole town. if it was a small town how sick did these people get? overall it was a hopeful book

Not up to level of Copeland's talent,
This review is from: Now and Always (Paperback)
This book had a great story line and could have been a great read. However, the characters were not developed and there was a sense you had been dropped in the middle of a story that had been going on for years without being brought up to date. I've enjoyed Copeland's books in the past but was disappointed in this one.
