Look no further than 'And Now...' by Asamov. This debut from Asamov is like Hip-Hop chunky soup for those Hip-Hoppers seeking quality production & superb microphone-mashing lyricism. No sucker mcs' or fake crews' careers are safe anymore since Asamov has thrown this brilliant gauntlet into the ears of Hip-Hop lovers worldwide. MCs Basic, Willie Evans Jr., Therapy & J-one-da possess a fluidity while rhyming together the likes of which have never been accomplished before. The crisp production from Willie Evans Jr. & Therapy, along with one track produced by 9th Wonder, will make your speakers extremely happy after thirsting for some inventive and booming creative sounds. I never heard of Asamov but its name showed up on my recommended list and i had my buddy get it for me. This is a definite must own. Help me sing alone is worth it, its one of the best tracks in a long long time. The other standout tracks include Hookslide and Supa Dynamite wit Mr Lif. But the cd is great throughout. My other "keeper" tracks are: 2, 6, 7, 9 , 10 , 11, 12, 13 and 15.

When I bought this review I was getting real tired of the whole neo-soul hip hop sound, but I figured that I would pick this one up just to have in the collection. Just to be real, I got way more than I expected. This almost gets daily rotation, its so hot. The beats are A+ on 90% on the album. Lyrics on point, keeps you listening. The sound has that authentic underground feel that heads love without going overboard. Think Perceptionists or Little Brother with equal, or better production. If thats enough, just turn on your radio and contrast.

You wasted enough time, now buy the album...
