5.0 out of 5 stars Not too thin; perfect!
I disagree that these towels are too thin or too large. They are easily managed while folded to the size for the job you're doing. At the unfolded larger size you can tuck them into your waist band and use as an apron. I have purchased several brands of flour sack dish towels and this is the best. I didn't read the description very carefully I guess. These towels are very large (2 feet by 3 feet) but the material is quite thin. You basically have to fold them a few times in order to use them. I would have preferred smaller, but much thicker and therefore more absorbent towels.

At the unfolded larger size you can tuck them into your waist band and use as an apron. I have purchased several brands of flour sack dish towels and this is the best. I didn't realize the importance of great kitchen towels until I purchased these. Both the size and absorbency of these towels are better than any kitchen towels I have previously owned. Now I don't know what I would do without them.

I purched these towels to dry my dishes. The towels are great. But, they are a little big. If they where smaller they would work better.

These towels are nice and large. I only have to use one towel for my bread. I place dough on floured half of towel and then just fold towel over top of dough. Works great!

4.0 out of 5 stars Floursack, January 5, 2011

We purchased these to use for when we make our holiday pretzels. They are great for "drying" the pretzels after boiling before they are baked. The only downfall of these is that they shrank tremendously after the first use. We'll definitely use them again, but may just need to purchase a few more.

The flour sack towels were bought for a gift. The recipient had requested this item & she was thrilled with them. Even got excited over the colors chosen.
