First off, I have colitis and am very cautious about trying new products. I can handle eggs just fine so I thought I'd give this product a go. I will agree with other commenters that this product does smell quiet bad. That aside, it tastes absolutely nothing like it smells. Once mixed into a beverage the smell is gone. I usually mix it with orange juice or in a fruit smoothie. Despite what other reviewers have said, this product mixes just fine. I use either a blender bottle or a real blender to mix it. While the blender is the preferred option, it's not always convenient. A blender bottle gets it mixed well enough to not be swallowing chunks of powder. This protein does tend to foam a bit more than whey protein. However, it adds a nice creaminess to smoothies. I've also tried mixing this with almond milk in my blender bottle and the protein powder added a pleasant salty/rich taste to the almond milk and it reminded me of regular milk (which I do not drink). Best of all, I haven't had any bad side effects from the protein, other than a little bit more gas. I can deal with that, better than cramps and diarrhea...

This product has been a staple in my diet for more than a year. I have significant food allergies and this is one way to bolster my protein consumption. I mix 2 tablespoons with 6-7 oz unflavored, unsweetened goat yogurt, 1 tablespoon flax seed oil and blend, then add about 1/3 cup frozen fruit for a breakfast smoothie. The smoothie texture is a bit different, lighter, smoother, almost creamy. It mixes thoroughly, nothing grainy or gritty about it and it doesn't change the taste of your basic ingredients. An upside, this protein source seems to stay with me longer than other products. I eat breakfast at around 6am and am fine until around 11:30am.

I use this egg protein powder in cold snacks when I am running errands or coming off a walk. Since I like to walk for exercise and I usually do this in some park away from home, I always brings snacks from home to nourish me after my walk.

Since it has been incredibly hot here in the Golden State, I am favoring a cold snack. I achieve this with: a serving of protein powder, a serving of u/s applesauce, and then my sweetener of choice: brown flavored xylitol (b/c I don't have a dog). Sometimes, if I am in the mood for something crunchy I'll throw in some finely chopped nuts. Then I bring a little insulated lunch box with me in the car, pack some ice into it, and after my walk, I'm set.

If you'd like to try my little recipe, here is what you will need to do for superior results. First, get a small container with a tight seal. I used a small glass canning jar. In a cereal bowl, measure out your applesauce, or other wet fruit/vegetable. Mix in your sweetener of choice. Then take your serving of protein powder, and add a little bit at a time, stirring constantly. If you add it in all at once you will get clumps; and no body likes clumps! After these two ingredients are mixed together well, add any add-ons you desire. I add nuts, but you could add chocolate chips, raisins, or salted pumpkin seeds! Then take the mixture out of the cereal bowl, and put it in your travel container, and that is it! I hope you try it.

Everyone in my family loves the NOW brand of Unflavored Eggwhite Protein powder. Most protein powders come already flavored and have a terrible artificial taste to them. We use this to make fruit smoothies and the flavor of the smoothie is unaffected by the protein powder, just the way you want it to be. It also blends quite well and doesn't clump or taste chalky. Sourcing the best price on this product is the only problem. It seems that I have to use a different web nutrition company every time I buy it in order to find the best price, including the cost of shipping. Unfortunately, Amazon never has a supplier that ships for free under the Prime Shipping program so I often buy this product using non-Amazon suppliers. That being said, this is the only protein supplement my family will use.

We used this good quality protein source to supplement the diet of a dialysis patient that must watch food intake closely for optimal health. With its mild flavor, it can be easily mixed in cereal, soup, or smoothies without affecting their original flavor in a significant manner. Easy way to boost protein intake, and maintain adequate levels of blood albumin.

I am an avid exerciser and always keep some kind of protein powder in the house for after gym workouts and bike rides. I have always used whey in the past but decide to get this as it was more in line with a Paleo-dairy free approach to nutrition. Here are my observations:
1. It doesn't taste as good as whey. It has a really mild flavor although not quite tasteless. I prefer the slightly sweet flavor of whey
2. Compared to whey, it is pricier.
3. The above 2 I can handle. The problem with this is that it foams terribly when used in my Blender Bottle. So much so that it is hard to drink. It also doesn't seem to mix as quickly and thoroughly as whey.

I was looking for an alternative to whey that was comparable in price an maybe a little healthier. Even if this product is marginally healthier than whey, and it may not be, it isn't as easy because it's harder to blend and it doesn't taste as good. What I realized is that I am usually in a hurry to mix up a protein shake and I this just isn't as easy or pleasant to the taste buds.
