This is a wonderful product.. This box/tea bag form creates an opportunity for those to introduce the tea to others, as long as they're also told the method for preparing it the traditional bulk-tea way of the Ojibwa for a beneficial return for illness. This is a good 'maintenance' product for someone on the go that would like to run with something non-caffeinated & beneficial. I got a box for myself, then 3 for gifts 2 of which have or had run-ins with cancer. This product has made me so happy that I don't have to buy the whole pound to introduce Essiac to someone to get them started with at least the 'idea' the tea is a possible thing, it's accessible & now they will tell others. I hope this product will stay available & affordable like it is. I will be ordering them 4 at a time as long as it does. It would be nice if Amazon would allow us to buy a large number of the boxes and not charge us top shipping/handling price for each individual box, more a group shipping price if we buy more then one box.

Hibiscus Tea naturally lowers your blood pressure. This tea is not a real tea, and does not have caffeine. It is made from Hibiscus flowers. Basically, it is a herbal tea.

I have a somewhat elevated blood pressure. Upon doing some internet research, I came across a wide range of information from many sources that hibiscus tea can help lower your blood pressure. I ordered several boxes of this brand just to give the theory a try. I brew two bags and drink it right before bedtime. After three weeks of this, my systolic blood pressure came down from a morning average of 134 to 122. No other lifestyle changes were involved and I have not lost any weight. My morning diastolic is still a little higher than what I would like at 92. It seems the tea has a lesser effect on diastolic, but has significant effects on the systolic pressure.

The downside to drinking this at night is that it forces you to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Basically, it is a mild diuretic and compels you to urinate. I made a change in the routine to avoid having to get up in the middle of the night. Now, I drink the tea for breakfast, on an empty stomach. I still get most of the benefit out of it, but my morning blood pressure average for systolic has gone back up slightly to about 127. This tea is not a cure. The positive effects will only last as long as you drink the tea every day.

The flower's mild diuretic properties are suspected to be the main agent responsible for its pressure lowering effects. Other sources on the internet claim that the flowers contain compounds that help blood vessels dilate. Hibiscus does have anti-oxidant properties and may also help protect your arteries in the long run.

I just love this tea!! It is dark red, full of antioxidants too. I have a huge cup full on the way to work every day. I have to put a little bit of Stevita in it.

This creates a very strong tea and flavorable tea. It makes a great refreshing ice tea also. It was advertised on Dr. Oz as giving relief for Gall Stones.

Whole Foods brand 365 is my #2 and more affordable, but my preference is Better off Red. I searched for this product late last year but Amazon didn't have it then. They do now!!! Yippie!

I switch up, using this some nights & bentonite other nights. Essiac is believed to be a good preventive measure against cancer & other illnesses. Of course one should invest in a healthy lifestyle: eating, resting, exercising & handling one's stress properly.

Good tasting tea. I love the Chai mixed into it. I purchased this tea for my candida cleanse, but it was unfortunately the wrong one. For Pau d' Arco tea to work for candida it has to be pure Pau d' Arco. This has a blend of different flavors. But very yummy flavors!!
