The Great Guggul
This resin from the myrrh tree is one of the best remedies for arthritis and cholesterol control. It works 100% of the time and I can't say enough good things about it.

Made me get a rash
A huge rash broke out on my chest and spread to my shoulders and little up my neck. IT says you could get a rash so I wasn't worried but wanted to let people know that you shouldn't take 4 the first day cause you don't see signs until in the evening. It was painful or very itchy. Just want to give an extra heads up. Read the bottle.

Lowers cholesterol and triglycerides,

The product label lists, not only the Guggle, but also sterols. I would expect that it will lower both cholesterol and triglycerides a little more that what he was taking. My husband was on another brand of Guggle and it did lower both, but did not contain the sterols.
