Can't stop popping!!,
This review is from: Now Foods Organic Popcorn, 24 Ounce (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
Seems like every movie night or TV show watching event is accompanied by popped corn. Thus, we definitely burn through a lot of this stuff. We use to buy whatever was in bulk at our local supermarket. Since we were eating so much, we figured we should look into a non-genetically altered version. - First time purchase of organic & non-GMO popcorn - Kernels are smaller than store-bought bulk - No difference in our hot-oil popper, everything popped just the same - The hull of the corn is almost non-existent = the smaller size. Thus, this lends itself to a more tender popcorn and less getting stuck in your teeth. - Also the kernels that don't pop fully are still chewable - When Googling hull-less popcorn (not that this is hull-less), its supposed to be easier to digest too We use the West Bend 82386 Kettle Krazy Popcorn Popper and Nut Roaster with this popcorn. We have people over often and we always get compliments when we pop this corn with just a bit of oil and add a dash of salt before serving. Sometimes we'll melt butter, but mostly we don't. Now when going to those same people's houses they too are starting to offer popcorn. OVERALL: It's a tasty snack, easy to make, popular with guests, a whole lot cheaper than offering a bowl full of chips AND it's organic and not-genetically altered. Thus we know more readily what it is we are putting in our bodies.

We tried other organic popcorn, and this is the best we've found so far. It pops very well in our hot-air popper, with few unpopped kernels, and few hulls. Very tasty! The bags were shipped fairly quickly, considering they were coming from quite a distance, and when they were on backorder we were not charged for the shipping of the other bags. Very satisfied, will buy again. In fact, this is the second time we bought this, and will probably continue to buy.

We kicked chemicals about two years ago, and since the microwave popcorn is so full of toxic junk, it went out the door with the rest of the other stuff. As other reviewers stated, the kernels are smaller but they pop up to the same size as other popcorn. I use a Pop Lite air popper and I've never had an issue. Very few unpopped kernels and the half-popped ones are edible. I melt some of my homemade sweetcream butter made with raw heavy cream (it's indescribably delicious) and I sprinkle some mild Himalayan pink salt over it. Once that's all tossed together, it's the best popcorn I've ever had. When we go to the movies my kids beg me to smuggle in a bag of this stuff instead of buying the gross over-oiled, heavily salted, fake-buttered movie theater popcorn. I wish I'd been using this popcorn for all the years I used the microwave stuff. Ah well, lesson (eventually) learned.

I use a StirCrazy popcorn popper that is a fabulous appliance and this popcorn is not only delicious and thoroughly pops, it is not a genetically modified corn. In today's agricultural world that isn't easy to find. My only problem is I live in Costa Rica and to have a friend bring this down in their suitcase is sometimes an issue with Customs. Randomly if they check the suitcase they will disallow this popcorn as an agricultural "seed" and that is a no-no. Other times, it gets through no problem. It may become too much an issue for me to risk paying for and customs folks ending up confiscating. With that said, this popcorn is worth the money and risk.

I never was much of a popcorn eater, I always hated the pieces getting stuck in my teeth and I just never really liked it. Well, for Christmas my in-laws got us a popcorn popper and some of this and we tried it out. I have to say I actually really like this popcorn and I don't get a lot of the pieces stuck in my teeth for some weird reason. Tastes good with olive oil sprayed on top with some nutritional yeast sprinkled on it, makes it taste cheesy. Yummy!!

I purchased a new popper and at the same time purchased three bags of this popcorn. I am on the second bag now. I don't know why but this popcorn doesn't pop fully and I don't think it is the popper or me. I have varied the heat and oil levels so I think the popcorn may have a moisture or freshness issue or just something else. I store it after opening in a jar in a cool dark cabinet.I won't purchase this again even though it claims to be organic.

I ordered this to use in a new hot air popper mostly because of the price. I've used it in the hot air popper plus used it to make caramel corn. The popcorn pops almost to the last kernel. The texture is quite nice and hulls are quite thin. However, the bag I received, even though the best by date is almost two years away, tastes stale.

I've bought and used NOW products regularly and when I saw that they make their own popping corn, I clicked on the product right away. I just purchased the Lindsey Popper and upon initial use, made my first batch of popcorn to perfection. I used Grapeseed oil and can say that Now popping corn yielded a delicious and generous amount on my first try.

When looking for non-GMO, organic popcorn online, this was the best value and qualifies for super saver shipping. You get 2, 24 oz. bags of popping corn. I think the seller should say they are Selling 48 oz, because that is really what you are getting. Definitely ordering more of this.
