The NHT Super Audio SB2 is already amazing audio commentators lucky enough to hear pre-release demonstrations. The SB2 breaks new ground for bookshelf loudspeakers in accuracy of timbral reproduction. The two-way speaker, representing nearly two years of design refinement by the engineers at NHT, employs the same 1" fluid-cooled tweeter and 6.5" woofer as the much larger ST4 floorstanding tower, eliminating the ST4's additional side-firing woofer. The 6-5" driver's massive motor structure delivers increased bass output, with extension down to 51Hz!
