No Bigger Lie Than Death,
By A Customer
This review is from: And Now, And Here: On Death, Dying and Past Lives (Paperback)
This is a book which covers the mysteries of life and death. I couldn't stop reading and the book was an incredible support in a difficult period of my life. It actually change my approach to life - and probably to death. (I can't say much about it as I am still alive) There are many books on the market about death and dying. This book feels like it gives you an inside of an experience. For the firsttime I had some kind of understanding that meditation is a kind of "death experience" in life.

Osho delivers again.,
By A Customer
This review is from: And Now, And Here: On Death, Dying and Past Lives (Paperback)
One of the most important and difficult things I have had to learn is to "take death as an advisor," without becoming morbid. Osho addresses this quite well. Perhaps I should have asked him earlier.

Confronting Death and Dying through Meditation,
By
This review is from: And Now, And Here: On Death, Dying and Past Lives (Paperback)
What happens when we die? Is reincarnation a superstition or fact? Do we spend time as disembodied spirits between lives? how and why do we choose to be reborn? These are among the questions being asked at a meditation retreat in the remote hills of Gujarat, India. The subject under discussion is death, and how the fear of it affects the lives of human beings. The man conducting the retreat is Osho, one of the most influential spiritual teachers of our time. 'And Now, And Here', provides a front-row seat at the proceedings, as Osho brings us to encounter our attitudes towards death and dying. He challenges us to examine our beliefs about what will happen when we die and demonstrates how those beliefs reflect our deepest fears. His healing alternative is contained in these pages.. not as a new belief system but as a method to gain a direct personal experience of our own immortality through meditation. As an antidote to fear he offers a way to enter death consciously and in a spirit of adventure. And along the way he answers the questions facing everyone who wonders about death and what happens when we die.
