5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection once again
Linda once again gives us something to treasure and enjoy. This cd is wonderful, every track well thought out and has what I would say is a romantic feel. I guarantee "No Finer Man" and "A Woman In His Arms" will haunt you for days on end after hearing them, both beautiful songs. Easy to listen to from beginning to end, kick back with a glass of wine and enjoy her...

3.0 out of 5 stars What a voice...but...
This is one great voice. The choice of material is very limiting for her, however. If all she wants to do is to sing things like Broadway Show tunes, she'd be right on the mark. But her appeal could be so mo much wider. She could sing anything. Her's is one of the great voices I have ever heard, but, alas, A whole album of the same thing, sounding like it came off...

5.0 out of 5 stars Breathtaking!, March 3, 2011

This is a magnificent album, from the first track to the last. The Eder/Wildhorn magic is as strong as ever. From rollicking big band numbers to quiet, heartbreaking/romantic ballads, this album is a winner. Buy this album and let it wash over you. Good music is alive and well today!

5.0 out of 5 stars SIMPLY STUNNING - A GREAT REUNION, March 1, 2011

After hearing a few samples of this new album, all those feelings I've been missing for the last few years have all come back in full effect. Of Linda's last two Verve albums, I loved one and not so much the other (except for a few songs). "Now" brings back the days of when a new Eder-Wildhorn collaboration would hit the stores and make the fans go wild. "Now" is absolutely it. Every song is a gem, with great arrangements, lyrics and emotion. If you've been missing this side of Linda, it's "Now", it's "Here" and it's "FAB".

5.0 out of 5 stars Flawless album, flawless singer, flawless songs!!, March 16, 2011
This review is from: Now (Audio CD)
This is a terrific album which again shows Linda Eder's imcomparable range, power, subtlety and control. Ms. Eder sings with a perfection that few others, if any, know and NOW represents that with a seemingly effortless intrepretation of song. Mr. Wildhorn certainly knows how to write big lush music that complements Ms. Eder's exquisite talents beautifully. Purhase this album and then look for a venue to see Ms. Eder sing these and other lovely songs live. Enjoy!!

Although I have seen Linda eight times in concert, she continues to move me with her songs and incredible voice! I knew that NOW would be great but I wasn't ready for how great! The entire cd is perfect but standouts for me are the title song, NOW and Living in the Shadows. She just keeps getting better!

5.0 out of 5 stars Linda's best CD to date!, March 20, 2011
This review is from: Now (Audio CD)
Seldom do I love every single track on a CD, but this is the exception. It is so nice to hear Linda's beautiful voice once again with Frank Wildhorn's music. I think her voice is at it's best when singing Frank's music. Her voice has matured through the years into this wonderful, rich, vibrant instrument. Full of passion and performance. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who loves beautiful music and in my opinion the best female voice on the planet.

Just recieved Linda's new CD, NOW, and it is a long awaited mix of the songs that Linda, and Frank Wildhorn do best. I would recommend this album of songs to any one who likes music, performed by one of the most amazing voices today. The song, A Woman in His Arms, and No Finer Man are worth the price of the CD.

Just when you think it's all been said, done, written and sung, along come Linda Eder, who just simply continues to WOW with that incredible voice of hers..Just as pleasing is the reunion with Wildehorne..the two should have never parted professionaly..She does what only she can do with her rich interpretations of his wonderful music.Simply mahvelous..Smoky, sexy, I have lived, been there, done that and survived..What a woman!! Sing on, Linda..I am forever a fan..and just a little mention of the song," No Finer Man"....No finer song!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Experiencing the magic once again!, March 28, 2011
This review is from: Now (Audio CD)
It's hearing Linda at her best once again! After listening to the song NOW, I realize how much I've truly missed the excellent work that Linda and Frank can accomplish. There it is again, the voice, that incredible gift that only Linda can share, the words and music from a talented composer, the arrangements, the song choices, the feelings these songs evoke -- MAGIC! Frank and Linda's creations have a special place in my heart and although I've enjoyed her recent work too, nothing compares to their dynamic collaboration. I am so happy that music continues to bring them together and that we, in turn, continue to gain the benefit of their talents. I am so happy that I don't have to be nostalgic about Linda and Frank's collaboration and that it doesn't have to stay in the past. Nothing showcases Linda's incredible gifts more than the efforts of these two talented artists.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, Linda, March 4, 2011
This review is from: Now (Audio CD)
Bravo, Linda. Though I really loved the departure fom his ex-husband Frank Wildhorn with the past 3 cds, it is nice to see a reunion with some of the most expressive lyrics and music to be heard.
Linda still has it and this cd proves it. The high notes are brilliant and the tone of her voice was never better.
No finer man is a wonderful song that can be used as a tribute to anyone's husband, boyfriend or Father. The medley is beautiful and I think Linda was either thinking of her Dad or her boyfriend when she search for inspiration for her performance.
Ordinary People is a perfect song for anyone gettring married . The lyrics are truly touching.
The two songs from Camille Caudel, "Woman in his arms is so quietly beautiful and "What has never been done before " is almost like an anthem for women.
The Mad Hatter from the upcoming Broadway musical is lively and Linda seems to have alot of fun with the music.
Not gonna Fall this time is upbeat, though it starts out slowly, it builds and Linda builds the song to a climax , that only Linda can do.
If you buy the exclusive release, whicj I did, you get 3 bonus tracks and let me tell it is worth the extra money.
The first name I awa Paris is from another upcming Wildhiorn musics "Tears in Heaven" and it a hauntingly beautiful song with a medley that just flows throughout.
Pleas don't make me love you come from Dracula and it is quietly sophisticated.
Goodybe is another upbeat number that is great for anyone who has gone through a break-up.
What did you see inside the stars is a quieter song , something to sit and relax with.
The heat of the night is a sweet song and Linda's pharsing shines through and she shows how sweet her voice is .
More than heaven is another example how a simple song can shine through with nothing fancy. Just Linda singing a love song at her best.
Living in the Shadows , is another quiet easy listening numbers that showcases Linda's quiet register.
It is nice to see Linda reunited with her old musical director, Jeremey Roberts who was her musical director from 1986 to 2005. Here , he works his old magic and the chemistry between Roberts and Linda explode off the reoord.
