Senator DeMint's Now or Never is essential reading for anyone who has doubts about those who serve in DC, and whether things can be repaired, post Obama. There's a growing cadre in the Senate that is fueled entirely by principle, serving simply because of a love of America. In exact terms, the book lays out an agenda for the future conservative movement. Jim DeMint is at the heart of matter -- deep in the middle of it all, in DC -- taking on RINOs while well aware that conservatives must remain, overall, united.

"Now or Never" walks us through the history of America's degradation and points the way to the redemption and good health of our beloved country. DeMint has an easy, flowing writing style; and he makes a detailed and compelling case for the action we must take. He is a true patriot and energetic leader.

Outstanding book from a real American Hero. Let's pass this book around. Hopefully the American people will get the picture before November.

Jim DeMint does an excellent job of presenting the facts as they exist today and the economic dangers we face as an individual and a country should we fail to significantly change course.

This book reviews accurately the economic mess the politicians have generated for us. The corruption exists because the politicians are in bed with the K St. gangs and unions. De Mint urges return to constitutional government as written not as currently twisted to mean anything the administration thinks best politically. He founded the Senate Conservative fund to help elect strict constitutional loving senators.

Any voting American should read this book before the November election. People have no idea how far off course our government has taken this country. We are near the point of no return and must change course this election; otherwise we will become Greece. Big government does not work!

It truly is as Senator Jim DeMint contends "Now or Never" for the United States of America. Four more years of Obama's socialist policies will spell doom for America. "Now or Never" is a well written, concise look at the problems facing the United States and the solutions to those problems. DeMint is a conservative voice in Washington, who isn't afraid to stand up to the liberal establishment in Congress and the White House whether Democrat or Republican in defense of the original intentions of the framers of the Constitution. Jim is right on the money in his contention that we need a Balanced Budget Amendment, repeal of Obama Care with it's replacement by a workable healthcare bill, repeal of the Dodd Frank Financial Reform Bill, education funds block granted to the states for administration, tort reform and more. He details the wasteful spending by various government agencies and corruption that is rampant in Washington. For all of that, he leaves one with hope that the problems besetting our country can be reversed and tells you the part you can have in helping this to take place. DeMint started the Senate Conservatives Fund to support candidates that would help save America. He is also known as Mr. No in the Senate for voting no on every bill that would increase spending. Ron Paul is known as Dr. No in the House for the same reason.

Politics in Washington seems to be at an endless standstill. With both Democrats and Republicans holding their ground, and not giving an inch at all. Many politicians write books these days, and almost every Republican Presidential candidate has written one as well. It is no surprise that Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina has written a book on what ails the country and the way to fix our problems. Senator DeMint is considered a Tea Party Republican, a believer in a smaller Federal government; and more power devolved to the states. This book is mainly for people who already believe in his view, he does little to get people to agree with him. While he might be a popular Senator, his writing is not that good.

There are several problems with this book. First, several major grammatical errors. Second, he repeats himself non-stop in every chapter. Rarely does he deviate from his standard script. Third, he can do no wrong and that only people who totally agree with him should be elected. Fourth, ignores that there needs to be compromises to get the job done. Fifth, the writing style is a mess; he is all over the place.
