A wonderful learning experience,

This book really opened my eyes about the immigrent experience. I enjoyed immensely when my teacher taught it to us. Since there are many immigrants in my class, we were really able to connect with the stories and it helped us write out own. The fact that student essays were used made the book more realistic and showed us that we could write too. I recommend it for any English teachers looking for a new textbook.
