"Now is the time", the 2006 delirious? live concert at Willow Creek is a phenomenal value full CD and DVD pack - for the price of a budget CD. But there is nothing budget about this production - from the artwork, packaging, to the filming and most important the performance, delirious? creativity and excellence is stamped all over it. Congratulations to the band and production team!

What an amazing offering - and this band knows the spiritual understanding of 'offering'. This is contemporary stadium pop-rock at its best - irrespective of labels - Christian or secular market. Oftened likened to U2, delirious? are an experienced, edgy, professional outfit who play with exuberance and joy. They are the British Christian rock supergroup of the last 15 years although it would be a label they'd distance themselves from.

Having seen them twice at the New Zealand Parachute festival, I believe this captures them at the peak of their powers. They don't hold back as they journey through 15 classic tracks that encourage as much crowd participation as possible.

I loved the different filming angles that captures the light show and faces of performers and audience. With this DVD, the concert experience is more important than focusing on whether the drummer is using a flams or rim shots, or what foot pedal the guitarist is using. That's not to say that the camera doesn't focus on the appropriate musician - it just that overall the filming has creative feel.

Martin Smith still has as youthful, and infectious stage presence as what he did ten years ago. He connects with the audience with friendly eye contact, impish smile and gestures. He amazes me each time I see him again. He can be sincere and gentle and the next minute cajoling the crowd to sing out an anthem roar. He's particularly strong in the title track, 'Now is the time' and 'Every little thing' as is Stu G, who seems to grow and display stronger guitar sounds with each new album. Stu G has a wonderful array of tones and solos that are more of the Edge guitar school rather than Satriani shred. I've never heard him play with such abandon as what he plays on this album.

Yes, this is a fun concert to watch but its more than this as I kept being drawn into their hopeful, uncompromising message. 'Our God reigns' displays this - challenging, uplifting rock.

Certainly this is the time that they shine for their King.

An enchanting effort from a band that never seems to grow tired from the weight of excellence they continue to place on themselves, release after release. While the production values of this concert rival those of past u2 and Coldplay products, the true electricity lies in the energy of the crowd, a sort of nervous anticipation that flows and recedes as the band jumps from high-strung stadium anthems to intimate worship choruses, followed by a return of the anthem. A pioneer of the oversaturated, under-inspired worship movement, Delirious? is one of few bands to maintain their artistic integrity in spite of the "light and fluffy" pattern that most modern worship music falls into. "Miracle Maker" is probably the perfect example of a song that could've gone terribly sour in the wrong hands, made almost immortal in its execution, and beautifully performed live in Chicago on this set. A must have album for not only fans, but those with a taste for live music or the brit-rock stylings of u2, Coldplay, or Radiohead. Five stars.

I have to write this review under my husband's name because we share the same e-mail. Call me Lisa the Cat. I love the DVD of the concert. Lead vocalist Martin Smith expresses a wide range of emotions with his vocals, facial expressions and body language. He turns from expressing joy and love for the audience to somber compassion for AIDS orphans in Africa to deep, heartfelt love for Jesus. The music is catchy and reminiscent of U2. The lyrics are obviously written by a band who has a deep Christian walk. Lead guitarist Stu G is powerful.

Although the concert was filmed at Willow Creek Church in Chicago, and non-professionals were involved, the quality of the filming, editing, staging and special effects is high.

In the song "Miracle Maker", the filming, editing, special effects--and above all the great lyrics and music, and absolutely fantastic performance by Martin Smith--make for one of the great, classic performances of all time.

The huge visual impact of the DVD is lost on the cd, however, which contains many of the same songs. Consequently, I only ocassionally listen to the cd.

The music flows very, very good. Nice images of the people and the band.
After seeing it like 9 times, definitely would like to be at a concert.

Just need to recomend this. The music is fantastic and also the song content. These people really know the gospel!

This DVD is a great insight to the music of DELIRIOUS.-- The SPIRIT of the songs, the band and the location is fully reflected in the concert and the additional DVD bonus material.-- The Spitit comes across !!
Great DVD absolutely worth to buy.--

This CD/DVD is a must have for Delirious fans, especially if you have never seen them live. Fans that have been to a concert know that worship is at the heart of every song.
This live album is made up of songs from Mission Bell and World Service. The chorus of "Our God Reigns" was used recently at the 2006 Passion conference as a powerful anthem to God. This project includes a reprise rendition that is no less inspiring. "Miracle Maker", "Solid Rock" and "Majesty" are other stand-outs that are enhanced by the Chicago audience feeding the worship experience.
If you're a fan of modern worship, Delirious deserves a place in your collection. Look into their other projects Access: D and Cutting Edge as well to get up to speed on what this group is all about.
