5.0 out of 5 stars EuroPop that hits the spot...
Now...Us! suffers no sophmore slump in the German popstars campaign to shine again. Offering a slew of what is often missing from U.S. charts (POP) appears to be the strength of this album. 1.0 out of 5 stars garbage musical quality!
what a garbage this band is! the answer of the german teeny girl band for SPICE GIRLS in the UK. The girls are pretty but they do not show us any capability how they could play any of instruments on stage, and neither they could read any of the musical notes.
the germans keep on saying "SCHROTT"

Now...Us! suffers no sophmore slump in the German popstars campaign to shine again. Offering a slew of what is often missing from U.S. charts (POP) appears to be the strength of this album. The first single of this album "Something About Us" touts how they are ready for the music business and that it is destiny for them to be making music (as they were chosen from thousands of contestants). Respect is what its all about - a lyric from their album should be given to these lovely ladies as each is showcased singing lead on songs they wrote themselves - demonstrating their ability to write and carry a song by themselves. From left to right on the album's cover Jessica's voice is spotlighted in "Shield Against My Sorrow," Vanessa in "Now That We Found Love," Lucy in " Stay," Nadja (laying on the floor) in "Come Back," and Sandy in "Say Goodbye." Although the girls singing solo is a welcome surprise, the magic of No Angels radiates from the tracks where all are featured such as the group's second single "Still In Love With You" and the beautiful "Autum Breeze." Make no mistake in passing up this true gem in pop music and yes people the songs are in english!

5.0 out of 5 stars Now....them!, December 11, 2002

This review is from: Now Us (Audio CD)
I lived in Germany when this quintet won the nationwide, televised Popstar contest. Their first hit, the catchy "Daylight in Your Eyes," recorded within "moments" of their victory, shot to the top of the charts - and rightly so. Still, I anticipated a quick burn out after a frenzied, manufactured success with can't-go-wrong radio ditties.
Now...Us, a more mature work which features tunes partially written by some of the band members, is absolute proof that these German divas will overcome any residual reputation as a made-by-television Euro bubble gum group. The infectious, delightful songs featured here - even "Like Ice in the Sunshine," a longtime German ice cream company jingle - highlight the vocal talents for which each member was chosen.
Convinced they would make it here, I hope their handlers are working tirelessly to get them airplay in the US!
