5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!
At last! The long-awaited story about Lucy Sharpe is here. And if you thought Lucy's story was going to be exciting, think again. It's not just exciting, it's electrifying and full of more twists than a Chubby Checker dance contest. Lucy has secrets that both haunt and drive her. 5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, August 24, 2008

This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
At last! The long-awaited story about Lucy Sharpe is here. And if you thought Lucy's story was going to be exciting, think again. It's not just exciting, it's electrifying and full of more twists than a Chubby Checker dance contest. Lucy has secrets that both haunt and drive her. We've seen her brains and business acumen in past books; now we see her in action, and she's smart, swift, sharp (no pun intended) and deadly if necessary. In NOW YOU DIE, she's teamed up with former Bullet Catcher Jack Culver to investigate a thirty-year-old murder and the cover-up that's left a trail of dead bodies. Jack left the Bullet Catchers under less than ideal conditions and it's only with great reluctance that Lucy agreed to work with him again. But put them together, and they're like oil and water, fire and gasoline. They're two bullet trains headed toward each other at breakneck speed and when they collide... POW! Jack has the cojones to get in Lucy's face and push. And he keeps on pushing to make sure justice is served. Both of them have emotional baggage that's big and black and way too heavy for current airline regulations, and this is what makes these characters so alive and intriguing. This most unlikely pairing of characters creates sizzling sexual tension and heart-stopping suspense. NOW YOU DIE is written so it can stand alone, but it you read the lead-in books, FIRST YOU RUN and THEN YOU HIDE, this book will have much more impact because you'll have the entire story. Get comfortable and pour a tall, cool drink because once you start reading, you won't put this book down til you've turned the last page.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get to know the real Lucy Sharpe, November 1, 2008
By
This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
Former cop and Bullet Catcher Jack Culver is dedicated to finding out who framed a woman falsely imprisoned for a murder she didn't commit, after reuniting her with the daughters that were adopted on the black market. He suspects that the girl's father is a Supreme Court Justice, but how far is he willing to go to keep his secret? His former boss, the shadowy and elusive former CIA agent Lucy Sharpe is in a position to help him set a trap for the shady justice. But their shared past and feelings for each other surface at the most inopportune times. Can Lucy let down her walls long enough to let Jack in?

Readers familiar with the Bullet Catcher series will relish Lucy's story, which seems to have taken forever to be revealed. Writer St. Claire has finally given readers insight into Lucy's past and the events that shaped her into the mysterious head of the elite Bullet Catchers. The passionate love-hate relationship between Jack and Lucy burns up the pages and enables readers to forgive the author for waiting so long to tell the story. But the series is definitely not over; Dan still has a story that needs to be told.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lucy's story at last!!!!, August 26, 2008
This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
Roxanne St. Claire is the hottest thing in romantic suspense - I love her books and the smoking Bullet Catcher guys. This book DOES NOT disappoint. Lucy has always been a favorite character and I'm so happy to see her get her guy. This trilogy has been a fun, wild ride and I'm sad it's over. Maybe I'll go read them again until the next Bullet Catcher book comes out.

5.0 out of 5 stars HOT! SEXY! and a TERRIFIC READ!, August 29, 2008

This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
In this third story of the trilogy, "First You Run", "Then You Hide" and "Now You Die". Roxanne St. Claire delivers her best yet!

Reading the three stories in order isn't a 'must'. Each one can certainly stand alone. But I always try to read a trilogy in order. I feel if the author wrote them in a specific order, then I should follow the same order when I read them. Many times you are introduced to characters who will return in a future story.

Reading the first two will enhance your enjoyment of the third! The characters intertwine throughout all three and knowing who's who will make you feel more apart of the story and share a camaraderie with each character.

This is Lucy's turn! Telling Lucy's story was a tall task since she is a mainstay character from the very first 'Bullet Catcher' book. Anyone who has read the series (in any order)knows Lucy is present and meaningful in each book. She deserved a GREAT story and Roxanne St. Claire gave it to her...and lucky for us, we get to read it!

I won't go into details about the story. I will tell you there is romance and sex (great sex ;) an entertaining rollercoaster story. There is a perfect, well-deserved end to the story and a wee cliffhanger, too!

I highly recommend this book. If you love the suspense & romance genre you will love this book and all of Roxanne St.Claire's other books as well.

Happy reading! Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) First You Run (The Bullet Catchers, Book 4)Then You Hide (The Bullet Catchers, Book 5)

5.0 out of 5 stars Three Bullet Catchers are better than one, November 17, 2008
This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
At long last, I've gotten some time to read the third story and conclusion to Roxanne St. Claire's most recent Bullet Catcher series trilogy, NOW YOU DIE.

This three book arc began with FIRST YOU RUN and continued with THEN YOU HIDE. NOW YOU DIE completes the set and it was well worth the long wait.

I have to say NOW YOU DIE is magnificent.

It was likely the best book Roxanne has written in the Bullet Catcher series. Perhaps I feel this way because it was Lucy Sharpe's story and we've waited so long to hear it. Or maybe because her hero, Jack Culver, is one of the sexiest characters she's ever created. He really is and Lucy deserves the best, after all.
But likely NOW YOU DIE is the best story because as with all of Roxanne's books, there are so many twists and turns I experience that certain thrust into the adventure, edge of your seat thrill ride component that is rampant in all Bullet Catcher books.
Put that with the intricately plotted story and I simply couldn't put the book down until I'd finished the last perfect word.

Great job, Roxanne. This is your best yet.

Don't just get this one book...get all three and be prepared to blow off everything else in your life until you finish reading all three books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the Wait for Lucy's Love Story!, September 2, 2008
By
This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
I am thoroughly hooked on this Bullet Catchers series. I didn't think she could top the last book, but Roxanne St. Claire scored a direct hit with Lucy Sharpe and Jack Culver in NOW YOU DIE. This time the story is bigger -- as the Bullet Catchers go tearing after one of the most powerful men in the country and the action is fast-paced. This is the most emotional of the books so far, as the heroine's past haunts her, and the hero's many layers are peeled away bit by bit. There's plenty of suspense, lots of action (including a wild scene with an alligator!), wonderful love scenes and a really unexpected twist at the end. The last eighty pages are total page-turners -- and the ending made me teary. I completely loved this book and now I can't wait for the next one. Dan Gallagher deserves his happy ending, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sizzling Hot Suspense, August 27, 2008
This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
Through two books we've followed Lucy Sharpe's group of Bullet Catchers hunt down women -- triplet sisters -- who were adopted through a black market ring. Their birth mother had been involved with an influential politician who was the triplets' father. Then she was convicted of murder, a murder she suspects he committed. Only he's powerful and connected and "he can do anything" including convict an innocent woman. Two of the girls have been found (and fallen in love with Bullet Catchers in the process). Now Jack Culver needs access to information to prove the woman's innocence, and only Lucy Sharpe can get him that access. Of course, Lucy considers Jack as something lower than mud on the bottom of her shoe and is an unwilling participant until Jack begins to prove himself worthy. And when the sparks start flying between them -- sexual sparks that is -- neither of them can deny it. Soon the hunters become the hunted. In this third book of this 2008 Bullet Catchers series, you'll get rough action, flaming desire and a convoluted plot that's as good as I've ever read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Her Best One!!!, October 22, 2008
This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
I am still halfway through the book but I am loving it so much I couldn't not write. I must admit that I read the first five books just hoping St Claire would get to Lucy's book. And now I can really say the wait has been more then worth it. The first four books were good, the fifth was very good, but this is excellent!!! And I really LOVE Jack. A perfect match.

This review is from: Now You Die (The Bullet Catchers, Book 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have been anxiously waiting to get my hands on this book and now that I have, it's only left me wanting more. Not only was Now You Die filled with twists and great excitement, it had romance, lust, and some really heart-wrenching moments. Lucy carried the weight of the world on her shoulders for so many years that it's great to see her finally let go of the past and live for the future with Jack.

The only thing that really made me sad was that Dan got the short end of the stick. I know that Lucy needs someone to challenge her, but what about Dan?? His presence in almost all of the Bullet Catcher books has made him so irresistible and I am saddened that he didn't get what I think many of us feel he deserved. I just hope Ms. St. Claire does him justice in the next book because he is definitely my favorite Bullet Catcher - and I wouldn't mind hearing about his good friend Max and how his family is doing either.
