Cosmic Discombobulation, October 7, 2000

I just saw Alex Woodard last night in concert. He is so full of energy and he puts everything into his music! It is readily apparent that he absolutely LOVES his music and in turn that makes his music beautiful. The guitars complicate the melody, at times it is almost to the point of discord between them but it is a very fine line that makes it so intriguing. Alex sings with this deep voice and the first time I heard it I thought of Jakob Dillan, lead singer for the Wallflowers. So then, cd is relatively inexpensive but well worth it.
