Watch what you buy. The automobile portion is ONLY for slected battery models not all. If you have a Sony fh50 or higher batt it will not charge in the car.

This product is listed as a battery charger for the Sony NP-FH series battery. The one sent to me by BargainCell was for a Canon BP2L, an entirely different style battery with charging elements placed on the sides not in the center of the battery's front edge as on the Sony. Seller refused to return. I had to file a complaint with Amazon.

I would expect this type of bait-and-switch followed by poor customer service from eBay, but this is Amazon. eBay is quickly tanking, I hope Amazon doesn't take in all of eBay's hustler-sellers.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH BARGAIN CELL FOR THIS ITEM.

This is an inexpensive alternate to the Sony brand charger. It seems to be a decent quality, despite being made in China. The plug folds to make it very compact and easy to store in a camcorder bag. It also includes a cord to plug it into a car, which could come in handy. I didn't have any issue with the battery falling out of the charger that another reviewer complained about. It clips in snugly and stays in place when I plug the charger into the wall. I highly recommend this if your looking for a charger for you Sony NPHF50, 70 or 100 series batteries.

Purchased the charger from Nextop2100, arrived 6 days earlier than expected at a great price. The charger is not manufactured by Sony, but fits and works great with my Sony Camcorder batteries, ideal for when traveling with the included car adapter, and for while in Europe with the included plug and 110v-240v charger.

I am very disappointed in this charger..
This charger is not a Sony charger as advertised.. It also does not charge the fh50 battery as in description..

I just needed a simple battery charger. This device does the job. My only advice is do not leave the battery attached to the charger if not plugged in, otherwise it will drain all of it's charge. Plus, it is much cheaper than buying the official SONY device.

Product works as expected...Its not an extremely high speed charger but for the price it works just fine.

The charger works - but because the pins that connect to your battery are flimsy it can easily damage the contacts built into your expensive battery. Also it doesn't grip the battery very well when charging so your battery can easily fall out.

If you get this be careful about how you insert the battery into the charger!

This item will not last. I never got the chance to use it as it broke the day after I received it. A word of advice, do not purchase this item.

This item was nonfunctional right out of the box. It was cheaply made, never worked, and was a real piece of garbage. Please, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME purchasing this charger!
